Dined in with a group of five at Tempura Grill in Mechanicsburg on a very cold evening in December and was overall very impressed. Everyone in the group noted their meals were excellent. Service was timely and the waiter was friendly. The only thing that detracted from a nearly perfect experience was how cold the dining room got when the front door was opened. Tempura Grill clearly does a lot of takeout business and delivery drivers came in and out often.

Outstanding sushi roll (shaky dog), hibachi chicken and steak (small portion, still a big plate), and great veggie tempura. Fresh food and great flavor. Staff was very polite and friendly and the restaurant is clean and well kept. Will definitely be back.

Unbelievable! The sushi was so fresh! Willie is incredible as a host. We had grilled octopus, spicy tuna ball, and edamame for appetizers. Then Diamond and Flamingo rolls, eel and avocado roll and shrimp avocado roll. BYOB. Price was incredible!! Will be back. My new go-to sushi joint

The food and service here are excellent. Some of the best sushi I’ve had. The atmosphere was quite and great for dinner on Sunday. We went with 8 people, all the food came out at the same time, cold food was cold and hot food was hot. Will be back.

I ordered online and used the pickup window, so I can’t speak for the inside. But the pickup window is a great feature! The sushi rolls I got had good flavor and were fresh and delicious. I also got the crab rangoons and they were also delicious. I will definitely be going back

Quite literally one of the best lunches ever! The space is extremely clean and pretty, and the music is calming and romantic. Our food came quickly and was plated well, and was VERY delicious! It did not taste like chain restaurant hibachi, it had great flavor. The man serving us, I’m not sure if he was the owner, was incredibly attentive and polite, offering us anything we needed and keeping our table clear. Overall amazing and we will definitely keep coming back!

I cannot stop ordering from here and telling everyone to try this place. A true food gem in Mechanicsburg. The first time we ordered I got the Crab Rangoons, Sushi, and Hibachi to really try the menu out. When I tell you I’ve never had anything I didn’t LOVE from here, I’m not kidding. The veggies are fresh, the fish is fresh, never a single bad bite or sip from this place yet. Every time we order we continue trying new items from the menu, now the Thai Tea is added to my every order. Not to mention the gentlemen that runs this place is just the sweetest. 10/10 would recommend, stop reading this and place ur order!

I stopped into this place on my way home when I noticed it was open. I am not a sushi person, but I love hibachi and other things! When I walked in, Caroline greeted me at the counter and was super sweet. I was ordering take-out, but realized the dinning room was super clean and asthetically pleasing. I ordered the gyoza appetizer and the small size steak hibachi that comes with fried rice, veggies, and homemade yum yum sauce. It was delicious and the prices are affordable!! This is my new favorite hibachi place!!

After four hours on the road, we were eager to find a good dinner spot open at 8 pm on Sunday. Luckily, we came across this sushi restaurant that was still serving. The entrance was a bit tricky to find, but once inside, we were greeted by friendly staff. We ordered spicy tuna rolls, tempura shrimp rolls, a salmon poke bowl, and miso soup. The rolls and poke bowl were generous in size and full of flavor. The miso soup was also very tasty. It was the perfect break — we left with full hearts and happy tummies!
