For starters, came here for a morning date.
I got the Bacon Apple Grilled Cheese, I know that sounds off the wall but it was so GOOD.
(Mozzarella, bacon, grilled apple slices on too of apple butter)
They had recently changed the menu, so their french toast wasn’t on the menu anymore like the online menu mentioned. However, the manager overheard that conversation and said she could make it. Their willingness to accommodate was appreciated 🙂
Also bought some chocolate covered goodies from their fudge bar.
Buckeyes,
sea salt caramel chocolates,
chocolate covered nutter butters,
Chocolate covered oreos,
Chocolate turtles,
And the Amaretto chocolates were good.
I’m looking forward to coming again.

Hidden Gem! Come for the gourmet food, stay for the stories. This place is better than Magnolia Market in Waco. The only reason it’s not packed is because it’s not overly commercialized. I got my fill of chocolate and bacon and the kind of quaint small town shopping and interaction that you can only get in an actual small town. A treasure to be protected. Shh! Don’t tell anyone!

Very adorable local Cafe, I always see the same lady when I come in and she’s so sweet, food is great and the atmosphere is so cute, plus wandering through the antiques after eating never gets old. Highly recommended.

You’re better off going somewhere else. Food tasted like it came from the freezer section of the store. Portions were small as well.
