Charming, intimate Mexican restaurant literally a minute walk away from Virginia Water station, very convenient but so classy. We are vegetarian and vegan and we checked beforehand whether they could accommodate the menu for us and they were extremely fast to respond and so reassuring. We were celebrating our anniversary and they kindly brought us a glass of Prosecco each to celebrate! The food was so good, we had the guacamole and chips, potato tostados, the vegetable tostados, sopa Azteca, the enchiladas and some sides of frijoles. It was all very fresh, zesty, full of flavour and delicious. We of course had some mezcal margaritas and watermelon margaritas which were phenomenal. The service was amazing, fast, attentive and friendly. We will be coming again for sure!!!

We haven’t been to Cielito for a while however yesterday’s visit was a really positive one, great service, nice vibe and food was on point. The owner also remembered us from our prior visit and checked in with us to see that all was OK and any feedback we could provide (which was a nice touch). Lovely restaurant and staff were attentive and friendly, we will be back and thanks so much.

Mia, was amazing. My friend and I came down solo after a terrible Valentine’s Day. Alvin made us some epic cocktails. We were very self conscious about other couples having a romantic time but the team were exceptional. They made us superb drinks, and didn’t pass judgement about the fact we were not here with dates but were in fact friends that had been turned over by their respective half’s. It’s our second time visiting Cielito and the experience was excellent as always. The restaurant décor is just delightful and the staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely meal.
The food is beautifully presented, well portioned and delicious. You can tell the chefs take great care and pride in preparing the dishes.
We will certainly be returning in the future!

Excellent evening out at Cielito, we were served by Rodrigo and Ella who were polite, knowledgeable, entertaining and fun to be around.
The food was delectable. Prawns to start and wagu steak for the main and we were in no way disappointed. Tasty, spicy, yet not overpowering.
The proprietors were in the kitchen all night which is a very good sign. They let the food do the talking and the taste, quality and presentation reflected their attention to detail and their passion for authenticity.
A hidden gem within Virginia water, we will definitely be returning.

Recent discovery, charming little Mexican restaurant, delicious food and such lovely service. Had a lovely lunch here today for Mother’s Day. Wagyu steak divine and delicious tacos & tostados. We’ll be back.

Brilliant, truly authentic Mexican restaurant. The best Mexican food I’ve had in the UK. The new winter menu has some real winners- we tried the pescadillas, sopa azteca, shrimp tacos and chicken mole and they were all superb. The shrimp tacos were especially delicious served with a spicy chipotle mayo. Lovely cocktails as well and reasonably priced.

Disappointing
I have been meaning to try this restaurant for quite some time since i moved to West london however i was very disappointed. The food was very basic mexican cooking. Its like something a beginner/ amatuer learns at home but in this case served in a restaurant with a very high price tag.
I also truly believe the franchise chains like Chipotle and Tortilla are so much more authentic compared to this.
The food was missing mexican flavours – the citrus, herb, chilli, seasoning and spice – all were lacking heavily.
Guacamole – nicely seasoned guac served with budget chips
Beef toastadas – tasty beef but dish was dry missing acidity, sauce
Tacos – amatuer, very dry, unseasoned Pan seared prawns – Peculiar dish with nicely prepped prawns and a decent sauce but missing 2 or 3 elements. Additionally the price was definitely not justified by the food nor the service. The service felt dull and unfriendly with very little knowledge and know how. This was not the experience I anticipated and I really do hope they improve the food and service.

My family and I had an amazing meal Alvin was so helpful and really looked after us. Food was much better from previous visits and they also made great cocktails. Had hoped to have some nice wine from provenance but it was not available so will have to come back

Came here for the first time last night, Wow! what can i say, its a cute little intimate spot that was easy to find and park, the welcome was warm and staff very friendly. The food was fresh and tasty and we both enjoyed it immensely. I Recommend the Fish Tacos and Pulled pork tostadas! It was reasonably priced and would highly recommend! were already planning our next visit.
