El Galante is hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants in Concord! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned—every dish tastes like it’s made with care. The chips and salsa are a great start, and the portions are more than generous. The service is quick and super friendly, making you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. I’ve lived in the area for a few years now, and I have been searching for this kind of spot!! This is, without a doubt, my new favorite restaurant in the Concord area. The atmosphere is welcoming and spacious, and the service is friendly and VERY diligent. The food is fresh, authentic, and absolutely cooked to perfection. 1000s of generic Mexican places all over every US city, snd this is another one, butnita a good one. Eeither they are good, or they are terrible, no in between. This place was good. Stand Mexican-Americab stuff. Nothing really authentic, but close. Flavors were OK, and portions were generous. Its a generic Mexican place, nothing really more too say. Provechè!

The food was amazing, I had the Chipotle Chicken Salad, very good, but hot. So make sure to love the spice. My guest got Pollo Hawaiian Chicken. She said is tasted authentic. We would recommend coming here and plan to return.

We love how the cooks wave at you as you walk in—it adds such a personal touch. The Mexican music playing in the background creates a fun and authentic atmosphere. While we miss Punchy’s, we’re really glad to have this great new restaurant in town!

Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and had a great experience! Service was great, food came out quickly and was delicious, prices were very fair, restaurant was clean. And we always love when you get free endless chips and salsa! Salsa was mild but we got spicier options upon request. Also got strawberry churros to go which were great! If we lived in the area we’d be coming again!

Absolutely horrific service, food and atmosphere! Burritos tasted like cat food, server did not care that the food was not edible. Didn’t ask if our food was ok once we pushed them to the edge of the table. Maybe 3 bites taken out of each persons plate. Didn’t ask if something was wrong! Just took them and off she went….. had to ask for our check. Did not once say thank you, did not once check on us, did not care at all. Manager walked passed us a free times and never checked on us. As people who work in the industry, there was a very minimal tip left. I will never recommend anyone, whether I like them or not, to visit this horrible restaurant!

We totally enjoyed our experience here. I was leary at first, but we said let’s give it a try. It was excellent! I had the chicken, cheese & rice (ACP), my wife had the steak, cheese & rice. Both very good and plenty enough to take home for lunch the next day. The nachos & queso were very good. I also got a crispy beef taco on the side, just to try their ground beef. It was very good, will get more than one next time. They have an extensive menu. We’ll be going back to try some different items. Can’t go wrong here. The wait staff were friendly and excellent. Plus they give military discount!

My family has been here a few times and the food is always delicious. You are greeted by friendly staff the minute you walk in the door. This place has the best Carne Asada Torta in Charlotte hands down. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.
