Really fantastic cozy little spot right in the heart of downtown NSB.
They’re sort of famous for the lasagna, which is very good. I thought their olive oil with a pesto aioli for your bread was a really nice touch. The balsamic dressing is also their own creation with a unique flavor.
Great service too.
I’d definitely recommend you do a date night here.

Not a great experience here. This place is cramped, not cozy.
Myself and spouse were given two different dinner menus. When I asked why, the server explained that they saved money by printing the newer menu on the other side of the old. So…what I wanted (veal picatta) was from the old, and no longer available.
That dish still showed on their website too. How about updating things? The server didn’t seem to care; she just turned my menu inside out and gave it back to me.
It is not a full bar, just beer and wine. They do have a good sangria, but the server did not know the ingredients.
We had reservations at 5pm, when this place opens. The server announced that one of the entrees was not available.
Entrees are ala carte, but bread is served. Their bread is served warm, with dipping oil, but it is that common stuff you got in the school cafeteria. Tasteless.
Linguine is their thinnest pasta.
Service was okay, but a little smug.
To be fair, their crepe lasagna was very good and unique. Spouse had the pork chop which was also very good and spicy with cherry peppers.
Parking is limited on the street. There are some public lots nearby.

In our opinion, this is one of the best Italian restaurants anywhere. All our food was amazing. Scratch kitchen, family recipes and authentic. Great vibe. Enjoyed meeting the Chef/Owner to extend our compliments in person. Our server Ashley was outstanding. Can’t wait to return for another wonderful experience!

From the vibes to the bread to the dinner – 10/10. Bread was hot and fresh, the dipping oil was incredible. The food was amazing. My mom said it’s the best chicken parm she ever had. Pictured is the fettuccine Alfredo and mussels. We didn’t have a reservation and didn’t have to wait to be seated, they accommodated 5 of us and pushed together tables. Waitresses were kind and cheerful! Will definitely be back.

The chef’s special was flounder with an amazing preparation. We have been fortunate to travel all over the world, and this was one of the best preparations we have had anywhere. The waitstaff made an excellent meal even better with her timing and grace. This understated restaurant is a hidden gem and a must visit for foodies. The laid-back atmosphere is more reminiscent of a European experience than a typical American vacation spot restaurant. Don’t let the casual atmosphere fool you – the food is truly five stars!

Main courses were awesome. I had chicken parm and it was great. Super hot and crispy! Jess had their signature dish, the crepe lasagna. It was full of meat and cheese, yet very light. Definitely a must try dinner and must stop spot!

This place easily takes first place for my all time favorite restaurant. The food is amazing no matter what i get and I’m a picky eater. The service is incredible. Everyone working there has the perfect amount of humor and so kind to anyone and everyone. The atmosphere is perfect and looking around you can see how hard they worked perfecting every detail about it. The color choices, the seating, the lights, the cork roof, everything is so pleasing.

This place is so cute and cozy! The menu is filled with great authentic Italian food and what my wife and I got was FANTASTIC! She got the rigatoni bolognese and I had the ravioli bolognese. Both of these dishes were the best we have ever had. The cheesecake….let me tell you they make the BEST cheesecake from scratch I’ve ever tasted! The prices were very reasonable and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. If you’re looking for a hidden gem in New Smyrna this is it! 10/10 service and Kelly who was our server was great as well! We will be going back LOTS! And I think you will be adding this restaurant to your favorite list as well!

Such a cozy, lovely Italian spot in New Smyrna! We visit from Orlando on a regular basis and this was our first time checking out D’Amore. The service was wonderful, Ashley was amazing and all of her recommendations were spot on, from the wine to the carrot cake cheesecake. We’re very picky about Italian restaurants but everything was genuinely delicious and also loved that they are a seed oil free restaurant. 100% coming back very soon!
