The popcorn chicken here is really good, so I’m giving them an extra star just for that. Perfect texture and seasoned just right! Loved the crispy basil too. I’d come back just for the popcorn chicken haha

Steaking is definitely known for their steak skillets with pasta, sauces, and veggies. I ordered the ribeye, which was HUGE! Pretty good quality in terms of marbling and fattiness. The mushroom sauce was an interesting addition, not so much umami – but definitely sweet with tomato vibes. The baby corn and broccoli was fine, but the pasta was reminding me of Jollibee at one point… but overall an amusing and unique approach to a ribeye steak! Casual and fun!

We also tried out their hot pot options, and we went for the Taiwanese Spicy Soup. The broth was very flavorful and the portions were okay. Lamb was thinly sliced and fatty. Lots of veggies and tofu varieties. Overall… this was decent, but not a must try!

We came here for the first time on lunar NYE. We enjoyed it!

Last year I was disappointed to see my favorite Taiwanese bento spot Ain’t Common close/change ownership. It’s because they opened this place! There was an NYE deal of buy one get one 50% hot pot and we also needed to try one of the steak dishes. I recommend following the Steaking instagram to look out for other deals. With the deal, it was an awesome amount of food for the price. Lots of food in the hot pots, and we upgraded one of the rice bowls to add the pork (yum). Self serve water, tea (black tea sweet and oolong tea), corn soup, and sauce station for the hot pots. Steak came with the garlic bread and salad, and we added on a soup with puff pastry (not shown). The soup in the puff pastry was basically the same soup as the self serve soup. I really enjoyed the black pepper sauce on the steak and noodles. The steak was a bit tough to cut and was a bit fatty, but overall good for the price.

We already came back and tried the popcorn chicken bento to go. It hit the spot!

A newly-opened steak restaurant. They have excellent service with really friendly staff. Although they sell steak mainly, they also have hot-pot with really great deal of you order both. The serving is great, and one order is equivalent to two meals, so it is closer to $10-12/meal with soups, breads, and red tea free to drink. The steak is closer to Taiwan style, and it will be different from the steak you will get in a typical steakhouse, but it is worth trying. I recommend people give them an opportunity when you look for food in this area, and I believe you will enjoy it.

We ordered the lamb steak and ribeye. My lamb and black pepper sauce were bland. The complimentary corn and carrot soup was also bland. The complimentary garlic toast lacked a garlic flavor. The thousand island salad was nice with cranberries added in as favor and texture.

The only good things were the complimentary teas. The unsweetened oolong was strong. The sweeten black tea was refreshing.

Service was good on a Wednesday night.

I finally got to try Steaking, and it was great! I ordered the duck breast Sizzling Plate. It came with unlimited Taiwanese Creamy Corn Soup, which you serve yourself, and unlimited garlic bread too. The flavors were so great, they felt authentic.

The environment was also perfect. The Taiwanese accents all around me made me feel like I was really in Taiwan for the meal. I loved the vibe. The servers were absolutely sweet and nice. They made sure I was taken care of, even when the place was a full house and a lot of people were waiting outside.

I think this place is great for a friends gathering, family dinner, or business lunch. I also feel the price is a good deal because I was super full after I finished my order. I wish I had a bigger stomach so I could try more other things. I will definitely come back.

Extremely friendly service! Food brought me right back to Taiwan, as a group we ordered seafood, steak and duck breast. Usually I won’t eat the noodles that comes with the meal but I ate it all this time lots of promos available and when it’s colder we will return for the hotpot.

Clean environment. Arrived at 11:30 a.m. and was seated right away. the place filled up around noon. They offer unlimited refills of green/black tea and corn soup. Ordered the duck breast and pork chop–chicken combo plate. Overall, the food was okay, though I wish the meat had more flavor.

I was actually a little disappointed; it wasn’t as delicious as I expected. It was just a very ordinary sizzling steak, the meat quality wasn’t particularly good, but at $24, you can’t expect too much.

$24 , come with one bread , corn soup

They also have mini hot pot and some deep fried items .

very high value food for the price. Has a lot of authentic Taiwanese food. Service very very good. Food came quickly. Rice is 8/10. Breading was crispy but a little oily. Great flavors, not too salty.

Very suitable for small parties to come enjoy.
