Love the pizza here, it never disappoints! Usually get the loaded. We also had the meatballs today and an Italian sub. Everything was great. It’s New Year’s eve, and despite being absolutely swamped, all of the staff were very friendly and calm, as were the other patrons.

Update from second trip – still an endearing quirky little place with friendly staff and a DIY feel. Pizza was a little bit of a let down this time. Floppy crust, some big puffy spots with nothing by a thin sauce. I’m going to back down on the rating to 3. Its somewhere between 3-4 but it doesnt offend.

First review Its funny how the reviews describe the decor of this place. It is unusual to say the least, a nautical themed pizza restaurant. To me it felt more like, we don’t have enough money to renovate so we just left it like it was in 1973 – when it wasn’t a pizza restaurant. At any rate, its harmless and is a cheap and cheerful place with counter service. The real reason to go is in fact a decent pie. I had a sausage and onion pie, good crust, thin-ish but not oily and cooked well. I for one like a little char but this didn’t really go that far. Sauce was really nice and toppings very tasty. Its a solid 4. It is not exactly like NY or New Haven pizza but its clearly not just a bunch of dough with cheese and red sauce – like most of the pizza in Maine. When someone says its the best on Maine, remember the bar here is the lowest in the New England states. I would definitely go back for another pie though and have a chuckle at the odd interior. Staff were also helpful and friendly and it was not expensive.

Great stop for a delishious reasonably priced meal! White pizza was amazing! The crust is just so good.

I confirmed today that this used to be a place called Christine’s Lunch, and it was run by my husband’s grandparents!!! They have a lunch special every day for the Bath Iron Works workers. So cool.

Writing another review about The Cabin restaurant in Bath, Me, they have the best pizza around and you get to eat in an old Historical building where rumor has it, use to make ropes for the boats. The shipping yard is right across the street so it makes sense. Parking in a lot next to the restaurant. Big place, old wooden booths when you walk in and in 2 other rooms on the right and left side of the restaurant. The counter is the order and pick up and pay place, cash only, ATM close by. Beer/ 4.00 a glass and they sell pitchers also. Large selection of can soda, no ice. We ordered and picked a booth. It was busy and took about 40 min to get our pizza delivered to our table along with paper plates and real silverware. Our pizza was a large, sweet and spicy red sauce with ample toppings and cheese, well done, it was delicious and cooked perfectly. Best pizza bar none. They also make a small and a 28” party pizza which is a monster size. Give this place a try and be patient, it gets crazy busy but so worth it. Debbie/ Mich

This has to be the hardest working restaurant crew I have seen in a long time. I went on a Friday night when they were busy and they were just working it. Pizza was really good and the space is an old school seafaring tavern kind of a vibe. Note: cash only, but prices were very reasonable (and they do have a cash machine). Well worth the visit!

Ok, so this place was amazing!! Incredibly unassuming, but inviting atmosphere that feels like an old tavern. The food was excellent. We had subs, GF wraps, and wings after a day of fishing a local inlet. The food was fast and really good! The people working were super friendly and helpful for a couple first-timers from far out of town. I really wish I wasn’t just passing through because I would absolutely come back to this place. For me, it was really perfect from top to bottom. Check pics for a feel of the inside!

Good food, wouldn’t recommend the subs tho. Very dry and lazy. My pizza was wrong and the cook was outback watching the pats playoff game no wonder my pizzas wrong, kinda unprofessional. Also lack luster service every timeeee for years it’s really not that hard to have a decent customer service persona or something. That’s really what’s holding them back unfortunately.

We were out-of-state tourists who were looking for a good local place for dinner, and The Cabin did not disappoint. It feels like a place with a tremendous sense of local history, where the person sitting in the next booth could be a local lobsterman in for the day, or a steel worker who just finished a shift at the Navy shipyard across the street.

They are cash only. When you enter, take a menu and find a seat. When you’ve figured out what you want, go back up to the cashier to place your order. They’ll ask you where you’re sitting and will call your name to find you when they bring out the order.

We had the supreme pizza and the garlic knots. The pizza was loaded with a thin, New-York-style crust, the perfect amount of sauce, and an edge crust that was flavorful and perfectly crispy/chewy. The garlic knots were amazing, with a very generous amount of flavorful marinara for dipping.

It was so good, we almost went a second time when we were in the area, but the timing with other obligations didn’t quite work out. But we’ll definitely be back if we’re ever in the area again.

I love to travel and find hidden gems like The Cabin. Laid-back, local dining place with unique touches. The Cabin is different from most restaurants as you order everything at front and your order will be delivered to your table by name. I highly recommend trying their spicy sauce!! Excellent flavor pizza, crispy crust and cheap beers It’s the little things in life…thank you to everyone who crafts The Cabin experience ♥️ P.S. Bring cash or use atm inside
