We went there on a Saturday evening for dinner after going to the beach. This us a kind of place where one orders at the counter and then they will bring you the food when it is ready. The place is very clean and the people are polite and friendly. The food was a hit and miss for us. The ribs and tortilla soup were great but the burritos were bland as there was no spice to them. It is a Mexican restaurant and we expected the burritos to have been made appropriately. Yet they were like deli wraps. They used good quality ingredients so we were satisfied for our first visit. We will give this place another trt.

Delivery for dinner was supposed to take 35 minutes but we wait over an hour. The chicken tenders were fantastic and the fries were still crispy when we got them. The calypso salad was refreshing. The car am a salad was loaded with veggies. The menu is big. I would definitely try more options in the future. Lots of options with chicken and less vegetarian options… Enjoy!

The chimichanga is to die for. Everything i have ordered is delicious, and everything is perfectly priced. A great option for local delivery besides chinese food or pizza.

The food was alright until I bit down on this rock that was in my burrito when I told the guy behind the counter he gave me trouble about getting my full money back because “I didn’t eat the whole thing” not sure what that has to do with anything

I am shocked at the way they treated us when we ordered take out. We ordered multiple things and they forgot one of our items. We called back to ask about it and the man on the phone claimed we never ordered it and we’re lying.
If they made the mistake of missing it we wouldn’t have been bothered, but he rudely yelled at us saying it’s not their fault.
When we totaled our order it adds up to the missing item, and they said the prices on the websites aren’t all up to date and there is a credit card fee. Since we didn’t receive a receipt we had no way of verifying it.
Overall terrible customer service and they just lost a customer.

This place is wild. I came to island park to visit my girlfriend’s family for thanksgiving and just wanted a nice Friday meal.
Ordered a burger and it didn’t come with the order and when we called to talk to them about the mistake I was blatantly told “you didn’t order this”. Since they didn’t give us a receipt we couldn’t verify anything but our entire house was there for the order.
Then after they dropped off the burger later the delivery man sent a threatening text to me claiming we didn’t pay for it. All in all just a terrible experience. Also the food is mediocre at best and rivals that of chewed up Taco Bell.

Excellent Mexican + restaurant mainly set-up for take out but no problem eating in. Has been around for may years at a Location in Long Beach. Solid food, while not gourmet, and reati b e dishes will tempt you. Enjoy! Great for a last minute meal or snack. Good soups and other quality fare.

Not good I love Guacamole but this was not cool. Food tastes better when they was in Long Beach.

Stay away from Ay Caramba in Island Park. The prices printed in their menus have changed. No sign alerts the customer, the cashier does not mention this when you order or before you pay. That’s dishonest – cheating, in my opinion. This business gives a black eye to the village. Instead of being rude on top of being deceitful, the manager could have said, “Sorry, we value your patronage, please come in & I’ll gladly refund the price difference. We’ll print correct menus soon”. With so much competition, I can choose to order from other, honest restaurants. My advice is, since there’s nothing special about their food & their business practices are deplorable, you should, too.
