This is one of our favorite sushi place to order takeout because the food is so well prepared and packaged it arrives just as fresh and appetizing as eating in. The rolls are packed with fish and there is only a very thin layer of rice.. so high protein lower carbs on the rolls. The sashimi is always a great choice.. the yellowtail carpaccio is a perfect way to start off sushi night. Yanagi offers a complete menu from apps to salads and entre selections.. try the special hand roll. The fish here has always been very fresh and the food is always great. Very solid option for sushi in Manhattan.

This is some of the best sushi we’ve had and it’s so close by. Much if the time I just pick up sushi and take it home so this is perfect. This location doesn’t have a dining room just a walk up window to order and pick up. The times I’ve ordered there have I ly taken 15 minutes or so for my food to be ready. Today I used their online order portal. By the time I got there I my food was nearly ready. The girl at the window was very nice and presented me with a nicely packaged meal. They are also smart enough to put hot for in a separate bag. If had sushi get cooked on the drive home before at other places. The menu is pretty extensive too. I love the chicken teriyaki bowl and my wife lives the salmon. I tried the spicy cali roll today and was not disappointed. My wife says the salmon is super fresh tasting and melts in her mouth.

Great first experience here..pick up at the window is super fast. We enjoyed all the items: dragon roll, salmon roll, spicy tuna and yellow tail with jalapeno. The rolls were just a little smaller than I imagined. But taste and quality and freshness was great. I’ll definitely be ordering again.

I love Yanagi. Great food and good prices. My kids love the salmon avocado roll. I like the crunch roll. Pot stickers are good too. They are very quick for delivery and even faster for pickup.

Ordered a giant takeout order for my coworkers – 27 items. The order was filled on time, was fresh and delicious, and similar but different items were labeled so as not to cause confusion. Great experience, and will continue to get food from there.

Was super craving for sashimi for lunch and find this place on Google map because it’s rating. I am truly disappointed with they rating.
Lots of overcooked smushed rice on the bottom and very tiny thin layer of sashimi on top. Totally not worth $25 for this quality.

Great little sushi take out spot in Manhattan Beach. They have very high quality salads and bowls with a variety of sushi options. I had the spicy tuna salad and it was awesome. The mix sashimi bowl was awesome as well and a great value. Not much space to eat inside, so best to call in for take out.

Great food and great price! SO MUCH MORE decent than other sushi places I’ve been to. This place is small, looks like its mainly for take out. They do have two small tables for dining in. Awesome to stop by for a quick bite or take out!
