Sunday afternoon lunch was wonderful. Drink special was a Lychee gin with grenadine, lemon juice and egg white, great combination. Our server Zach was an absolute pleasure, good sport, fun and quick. Our 2 rolls and soup we shared also great. I hate when sushi is too cold and kills the flavor of the high quality ingredients. The sushi chefs were engaging and professional. TVs were on by the bar to keep an eye on the game without feeling like a sports bar. Not Our first or last time visiting Sakura. Support local consistent business.

Ordered the tuna nigiri and a chicken katsu bento lunch box. The tuna was not the most flavorful I have ever had but did seem to be fresh. The Bento came with salad with a delicious house made ginger and soup (miso) that was very standard. Inside the bento was two well season, well fried chicken cutlets, a scoop of white rice, two gyoza, and 3-peice california roll. The gyoza was perfect, rice cooked correctly, chicken with katsu sauce was excellent and the california roll was a california roll. All in all a very good experience with great value. The bento was 12 dollars and the nigiri was 7.

We went on a Friday night. Food was good but took a really long time. Very busy. Don’t recommend if you don’t have time to wait.

My s/o really enjoyed the fresh sushi that was presented in a boat. The drinks were delicious. I ordered a hibachi chicken dinner which was good, I just didn’t care for the rice recipe. We unfortunately waiting a really long time for our food, but the service was decent. Besides that everything was nice.

If my taste buds could write poetry there would be a haiku here about Sakura. From the moment you walk in you know you’re in for a treat. I got the butterfly roll recommended to me since I like sashimi and I swear it was so fresh I’m convinced it swam onto the plate.
The service is fantastic. Julian is charming, knows the menu better than I know my own schedule, and refilled our drinks like he had a sixth sense.
I came here twice this month, once with the girlfriend, once with the wife. Both said it was the best date night ever. I credit the sweetheart roll and the sexy salmon.

Sushi was not well wrapped was falling apart when trying to pick it up. Was not a really good experience when it came to the presentation of the food. My family and I are really big sushi lovers. I would not return personally. I like enjoying my sushi with chopsticks rather than having to scoop up with a fork and my finger.
Service was really amazing the server and greeter amazing very attentive to the guest. I love showing off the amazing food I eat but this was not one of those times.

Food was over priced and terrible. Ordered the J’s wantons and there was barely any crab filling. The seared tuna was the skimpiest piece of tuna I’ve ever seen. If it was 4oz I’d be lucky and for $14, forget about it! Then came the final straw, my $18 volcano roll looked like something you’d get from chow time, cold topping of imitation crab, supposed to be King Crab. I highly recommend any other place than this place. This place is only there to rip off the college students! I’ll just be taking the drive out to Dao’s for now on!

Kind of disappointed today. Usually have a nice experience. I ordered Veggie Udon with Tofu. The noodles were way off their mark in texture. Very tough and gummy. By the time the waiter finally came back around to us and I told him we were not willing to wait for him to fix it. My wife was nearly done with her meal. He offered to put the noodles “back in” for a little while longer. Not sure he knew how noodles work once they’re mixed with sauce and veggies. The dish overall had very few veggies to be a veggie udon. A few mushrooms, plenty of onions, a few green onions and a few carrots, and that’s it, besides the tofu. Holy smokes. Way overpriced! My wife’s food was ok, shrimp hibachi. Flavor was nice but the shrimp were waaaay overcooked. She ate them anyway. Our veggie tempura was delicious and so was the miso soup and ginger dressing salad. Place was spotless. Overall the server was pretty lackluster. Not sure if we’ll stop by again. There’s a lot of places we can still try in Tally.
