Haven’t been to the seafood buffet for quite some time because of the disorganized way people are allowed in and the wait times an hour was a bummer, this time we got there early and had another long wait, had a new way to get in but the information wasn’t very clear about that either it says like if you have 6 or more in your group check in for shorter wait times, what it doesn’t say is that everyone has to scan the logo and register to get a place in line. This could have been a better way of letting people know. But it’s really okay I probably won’t be back for a long time anyway because it’s not gonna change! Food and service was good but people were upset with the bad signage.

Tyler and the some other wait staff at this buffet are absolutely amazing! I mean Michelin star restaurant quality servers. They deserve to work somewhere better. The selection for seafood night consisted of muscles, clams, and shrimp in the same container. There was a couple others like cold shrimp, battered shrimp and battered fish. The star of the show was only crab legs. Overall, it was missing a ton of seafood and had a ton of normal foods. This buffet used to be one of the best in the state! They have a waiting queue which took less than 30 mins so it wasn’t too bad. Most of the time the hot food was just warm and the cold stuff was also warm. Overall if you do not LOVE crab the seafood buffet at $45 a person is not worth the money. Children under 5 are free and 6 and over are adult prices which I think is crazy.

Great food, has a really good selection that rotated based on day of the week.
Me and my significant other went on a Saturday, which is “Gourmet” day, which I believe was 26.99 per person.
Update: 7/17/25 One of the check in waitresses was haven’t abit of trouble checking us in. My girlfriend asked what something meant, and a different waitress acted as if my girlfriend was being aggressive.. when asking for clarification.
The male waiter was very friendly however. Still had a good time at the crab leg night I had been telling my girlfriend about for years.

I did not stay here. My family and I ate at the buffet here Thursday evening for crab legs. Definitely use the open table app for a reservation if you want to eat at 3 when they open, reservations become available at 2pm. You really don’t need to get there that early though. It wasn’t packed and they keep bringing out more crab legs, no need to rush and stack your plate high as some people did.
Our servers were great. Soft drinks, milk and chocolate milk are included in the price. Everything was fresh and hot. The prime rib was perfection.

Had the lunch buffet on Wednesday. I don’t know who was cooking, but it was the worst buffet I ever had in life. Chicken was white and rubbery and mash potatoes were runny. Ribs were under cooked and a bit tough. The chicken & Rice soup was very good. Don’t understand how you can put food out like this, I heard good things about this buffet, however, maybe just a bad day.

I will admit I was not expecting much for a buffet, but I was thoroughly impressed, excellent food, real homemade soup and mashed potatoes… Bacon was cooked perfectly… Some of the best donuts I ever had… Pretty darn impressive for the price, very friendly service!!!

We were here for the Seafood Buffet. On this visit, it was $39.99 per person so make sure you come hungry, and get there early. There is a wait, and you must check in. When your table is ready they will send you a text message on your phone.
The Crab legs were delicious. People had them piled high on their plates. There’s a nice variety of other stuff, Prime Rib, Chicken Kiev, Cajun Style Seafood Boil, a nice variety of sides, and lots of desserts, including Vanilla and this Amazing Peach soft serve ice cream. Never had peach soft serve? If you like peaches, it’s a must. The only thing I didn’t care for were the Shrimp Skewers. I didn’t care for the seasoning and they were mushy, like they were left overs, that had been re-steamed quite a few times.

We decided to try a Thanksgiving meal adventure here today. We arrived at 4:13p and were told we had a 2.5 hour wait. This was a good sign as it told me that this was a popular place. Fortunately, they use Open Table so we were able to do other things while we waited.
We were notified at 5:54p that our table was ready. The food was amazing. We were impressed with the variety and number of different foods, beyond the traditional Thanksgiving meal, that were available.
I’m a mac & cheese adventurist and I think this was the second best I’ve ever had. The best was at the former Hinkley buffet.
The dessert options seemed endless. This wasn’t just a “quantity” buffet as it was obvious that they focus on quality AND quantity with attention to unique food options.
The service wasn’t bad, but since they were so busy, it took just a bit longer than normal for beverage service. That is understandable.
The environment was comfortable and while there were a lot of people dining, it didn’t seem overcrowded.
I was very happy with the overall experience. I’m now compelled to come back and check out their normal weekly buffet adventures.
Kudos to the Bear for having one of, if not the best, buffet in the state. We will be back again.

A very relaxing and enjoyable evening. The hostess and the waitress were very gracious and welcoming. The waitress was very attentive and my order was served exactly as I had ordered it. Frequent visits by the waitress throughout the meal insured total guest satisfaction. I ordered the Planked Salmon with vegetables and cheesy Au gratin potatoes. Delicious ! This is definitely my “go to “ restaurant. I highly recommend the Seven Fires for any occasion.

Dined on a Sunday which was Northland favorites. We thought everything was exceptional. Prime rib, ribs, shrimp casserole(?), breaded fish, great salad bar. Best cheesecake we’ve ever had.
