Never disappointed going to GG’s Place! Home cooked food – fabulous service & owners, delicious specials! Favorite breakfast for me is the loaded hash browns – my husbands is the meat omelet. Friday special of hot beef is the best around but get there early because it will sell out! Chicken Alfredo is soooo good and huge! The PB and Jap stuffed burger and cheese curd burger are my faves for that style eating! So many options for the whole family! Big Bonus, supporting a local and family operated place!

Went there for lunch today. The menu had lots of good choices. I ended up getting a 1/2 burger with pepper jack cheese, jalapeños, peanut butter, and onion rings. I ordered it because it sounded unusual. They cooked the jalapeños and peanut butter in the middle of the burger. It was pretty great. I will definitely go back here when in the area.

Gigi‘s place in Nora Springs Iowa. Very friendly. Mike (dad, owner, cook) and Cassidy (Daughter, server, support staff) We’re on deck for our visit, today. Pork tenderloin with fries, for me. Hard to give you a real perspective on the bartender. It’s not a real pork tender if it doesn’t hang off the bun. But this one stuck out off each end of the bun the same size as the sandwich itself!!, Taco, Coke for my mom. very pleasant time. Lots of Northsprings memorabilia. Mike and Cassidy both very nice and conversational.

Had a great time dining here for lunch. The staff were friendly and came to take my order quickly. The food came out about ten to fifteen minutes after I ordered. My Bacon Cheeseburger was really good and came with onions, pickles and lettuce on it. Absolutely loved the place. The only bad thing I can say is that the booths sit low, other than that, I will most likely come back again.

Got the Cheese ball burger and of course gotta add an egg whenever I see there is option, the burger is so juicy and the sauce that come with it was amazing even dipping it with the fries. Place look really clean too.

❤ SERIOUSLY worth a detour for spectacular burgers and ice cream!
The GG’s Cheese Curd Burger with SPECIAL SAUCE was to die for. Then I’ve tried PB in burgers at other places, but this time I was happily impressed with the GG’s burger with jalapenos, peanut butter, bacon, & onion rings on it!!! Yep, it was amazing!
To top it off, they have ice cream cones too. Yum!
Wish we were able to checkout breakfast and dinner now too! We’ll be back any time we’re traveling anywhere near!

Very friendly people. Food was amazing, I usually don’t like diner foods but they really know their way around a kitchen. Pricing on everything is worth it with the quality and portions. I’ve lived in Nora springs for 3 years now and have heard everyone say that I needed to try GGs well today my family and I finally did and I wish we would’ve sooner. Definitely will be making this our go to place from now on.

This is a good little lunch spot! The onion rings are awesome & the BLT Club was huge! Atmosphere is a bit outdated, but what do you expect from a small town diner in an older building? I will definitely be back.

Can’t say I payed much attention to the “atmosphere” at GG’s as we ate here for lunch at work most days for about a month, but the food was phenomenal. The Reuben was my go to and to this day I have not had another nearly as amazing. Perfect pricing per portions, timely service, and rustic antiques decorate the spare room in the place. It’s a beautiful little small town Iowa eatery I’m glad to have given service too. Only bust I can find is that it isn’t open Mondays. But quality overrules quantity at GG’s and if you don’t believe me you’ll have to try it out yourself
