Looking for a place to eat today, i drive and see this place. So i stopped in. Place is very clean, and the service was great. Ordered boneless rib lunch special and a shrimp eggroll. The price was very reasonable for the amount of food i got. Rice was delicious with great flavor. The bonless ribs were not dry at all. Im definitly going back agin if im nearby and trting something else.

Peking Chinese Restaurant is conveniently located in downtown Windsor and serves good Chinese take out favorites at reasonable prices.
I’ve had Peking Chinese twice now since moving to Windsor and both times were consistently good. Was it the best I’ve ever had? No. But it was prepared well and tasted fine. I recommend the wonton soup and general tso chicken.
The service has been quick and friendly.
Just minutes away if you live in the town center, Peking Chinese Restaurant is a good place to get your favorite take out dish.

The food here was very good. The ingredients seemed pretty fresh. The portion size was very large, and the pricing was inexpensive. If you like your restaurants to be very clean, you will be disappointed, Although this is primarily a take out place, so that will not matter to most people.. This would have earned 5 stars if the restaurant itself was a little bit cleaner. It was a bit old and run down on the inside. The staff was friendly.

I ordered takeout for dinner from here on a Sunday evening. I ordered the pupu platter and a quart of hot and sour soup. The food was ready in 15 minutes and nice and hot when I got there to pick it up. The food in the pupu platter was good, I especially like the ribs. Cooked well and tasty. The soup was also good, I wish it was more spicy, but still tasty.
Overall a good Chinese takeout food spot and exactly what you’d hope for.

(2019, many many visits)Always good for a fast lunch to-go
(2023, single visit)Edit: I changed offices so it has been a few years since my last review of this place, but 4 years later… still great! Excellent Gen. Tso Chicken, and thanks for the snow pea swap!

Over last few years at least I have visited 30+ times here. Take away everytime. Very much pocket friendly.
Staffs are okay. Slight difficulty in communication; but food quality suppresses that.
Top Picks for snacks/Dinner:
Chicken Wings with Garlic Sauce
Chicken Fried Rice
Singapoori Rice Noodles
Chicken with Brocolli
Lunch combos are good too.

The food was not good. Is the only chow mein that doesn’t have noodles, it was only onion and some vegetables + no flavor. I called and they said chow mein usually doesn’t have noodles anywhere, I believe the translation is “stir fried noodles”. Will not order again this.

Ordered Chicken Chow Mein. Got chicken chop suey with a package of fried won ton pieces. Packaged? Really? The chop suey was good, as was the fried rice.

I’ve ordered takeout via Uber Eats. Food was greasy and awful. I’ve ordered lobster chow mein, not a piece of said lobster, there was few shrimp though, just enjoying a grease bath. Teriyaki chicken was good enough to make soles for my boots. Fired dumplings were cooked to eternity and beyond … if Jesus was around he wouldn’t be able to bring to life whatever meat was placed in those dumplings … and I’ve paid extra 1.50 for brown rice, didn’t get it… just white rice.
But delivery was fast!
