My husband and I decided to try Dripp for the first time this morning instead of our usual mom and pop donut shop (Sweet Glaze Donuts) down the road. What a mistake. Upon arriving at Dripp it’s clear to see that they have an eye for marketing and visual presentation, but that’s where the positives end. First off parking is terrible at the new location and their customer service leaves much to be desired. The staff wasn’t rude but also wasn’t exactly welcoming or helpful. The building is the size of a shoe box making it feel cramped and chaotic when more than 4 customers are inside. My husband tripped over a chair by the door due to the small space and being surrounded by other customers. We ordered a smoked chicken kolache and a “down home sausage” kolache. Being from Stonewall I instantly realized that it was not a true down home sausage but instead some sad excuse of a sausage cut in half with a string of cheese in between. Gross. The chicken sausage was hotel breakfast quality at best. Neither kolache was heated up which was very disappointing because who wants to eat a cold sausage? Not me. We also ordered a cookie butter donut and a blueberry cheesecake donut. While the donuts were beautiful in appearance the flavor was MIA. The cookie butter donut was a glorified glazed donut with cookie crumbs and a stale cookie on top. The blueberry cheesecake donut had to be over half eaten to reach the blueberry filling which tasted odd. Overall another overpriced over hyped hipster business has fooled the masses with their pretty presentation and colorful marketing. $23 down the drain.

I’ve tried their donuts, kolaches, coffee and chicken sandwich with fries. Every single item is fresh, delicious and their staff is great! Love having this location so close to home

Damn good chicken sandwich and hand cut fries! Highly recommend!!
I ordered the Nashville Box and got the Hot! sauce on my sandwich. It was a perfect-level of heat if you want flavor without ruining your afternoon. They didn’t skimp on the portion size either! The hand cut fries were crispy and perfect.
I didn’t get a doubt, but they looked damn tasty. There were some great looking flavors!

Chicken is crispy, seasoned perfectly, fries as good as homemade. Great selection of delicious donuts with fun flavors. Wish I didn’t live 1,500 miles away, because I’d be a new regular here. Highly recommended.

Outstanding sourdough donuts, surprisingly good lattes, fun decorations on the donuts, and friendly counter service are the reasons why my family are regulars at Dripp. I actually like that there’s not a ton of seating inside; we’ve made friends with other regulars just by talking between tables. The little courtyard out front offers lots more seating, when the weather allows. In all honesty, I have had both good and bad experiences with the fried chicken menu, but I definitely get the impression that they’ve done some fine-tuning there. We live nearby and this place is almost certainly going to shave a couple of years off of my life, but it’ll be worth it. Hard to beat a place with great donuts, very good coffee, and friendly service.

Thank you Dripp Doughnuts for moving into my neighborhood! They have changing flavors and everything has been delicious! Love the set up! I got a apple fritter and it was Amazing! It says limited time so I suggest if you are a fan like me , you will want to head over. The chocolate milk is awesome! The folks there are great too!

I visited one morning. They had just opened the business. They had been open about a month. They were all new. I want to make that clear. Things may have changed. I can only give you what happened during my visit. Upon entering the owner gave me a look. I can only describe it as a suspicious/hateful look. Not the smile and nod I am accustomed to getting upon entering a restaurant. During my visit the cashier rang me up and the total was twice what it should have been. Then the cashier, the owner and another man tried to get ice cream out of the machine. After about 3 minutes I just walked out. I have not been back. The employees were very nice and helpful, just new at their job. My issue is with the owner from the look he gave me and the fact that he opened the store before it was fully functional and the staff trained. Things may have changed. I will never know because of the encounter upon entering. That look I would liken to a bully on the playground sizing you up. That was my second visit. The first visit was not notable. I had the brisket kolache and it was not what I expected. I had never seen this item before and was excited to try it. It was devoid of flavor. I was expecting smoked brisket, It was not. The staff were very friendly and helpful at that time as well.

So happy to have Dripp in The Highlands! Makin qual-i-ty donuts. It’s 10am and they still are fresh and soft and scrumptious. We tried the glazed, chocolate glazed, blueberry filled, and praline. The base donut is significant without being dense; soft, pillowy, and rich with flavor. This is not your drive-by donut! The praline topping has perfectly roasted pecans, the blueberry cream cheese filling is lightly sweetened – I would suggest it needs a little more tartness. But-they also serve a Strong cappuccino too! Will definitely be our go to Highlands haunt for breakfast – AND lunch! They are rollin out the chicken at 11am!
