The dining area was clean and family-friendly, making it a great spot for both casual dinners and gatherings. We even requested a specific pizza, and they made it fresh and brought it right to our table. That extra touch really made the experience feel special.
Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food, great service, and a relaxed atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!
There was barely any pizza on the buffet at all (a few slices left). Finished my first plate of mashed potatoes and chicken, and sat there still waiting for pizza to be stocked at the buffet.
We were here for about an hour, and they could not keep pizza stocked through the slow or busy times. It might as well been a KFC buffet, where’s the “Pizza” in “Pizza Ranch”??
When we left, there was still less than half a pizza available. They never did get it properly stocked.
Oh, and to make things worse, the constant thin crust pizza issue still hasn’t been fixed. We’re at the point when they ask us what we’d like to see on the buffet, we say “anything but thin crust” and they just ignore us.
I’m not saying don’t do thin crust. I’m saying alternate it. Give us options without having to ask (and be ignored)!

Review History:
EDIT August 10th, 2025 @4:30pm:
We called in a group of 10 in advance for 4:30. We show up and there’s not many people eating, and yet despite our advance notice, the pizza side of the buffet is not stocked (only 3 slices of non-dessert pizza).
It was a full 15 minutes before any pizza was added to the buffet. There is no reason, with us informing them of the group prior to us showing up, that they weren’t more prepared for us.
We let them know an hour and a half before we arrived, had a slightly smaller group than planned (9/10), and there was maybe 2 other small tables there when we showed up.
Aside from that, the food was good. Loved the mash and gravy as usual, and the breading on the fried chicken was great.
EDIT November 11th, 2023 @5:30pm:
Visited with my family for Veterans Day and I still see constant thin crust pizza on the buffet.
We also had probably 8 empty plates at our table before anyone ever offered to take them.
This is not the quality i praised when I wrote my original review. Disappointing.
EDIT October 21st, 2023 @5:30pm:
We learned that they changed their Military discount to only apply to the veteran, not the family. So much for feeling like a family restaurant.
Then when the buffet was restocked, they put out 3 thin crust pizzas back to back instead of giving variety for those who don’t like thin crust pizza.
Between getting more expensive for us, plus poor handling of what goes onto the buffet, I may not visit as often
ORIGINAL:
Went in for the buffet with my parents on Saturday, April 1st. Dad got a military discount so I want to thank Pizza Ranch for their support on that end.
As it was my first visit, I tried as many things as I could with the intention of writing a review.
The fried chicken had good flavor, wasn’t overcooked or dry. Love the mashed potatoes and gravy, went back for more. I also tried the (home made?) potato chips and I enjoyed how they were seasoned.
I won’t review the salad this time, as I made the mistake of getting onions which upset my stomach. Will try without onions next time. I do feel like it was hard to reach some options for constructing my salad, however.
Of course, I had to try the pizza here too. Mom requested a supreme pizza and I enjoyed a slice of it. The cheese pizza and cheesy bread sticks also had good flavor and plenty of cheese as you would expect.
My highlight has to be the pepperoni pizza though. The best in the county, well seasoned, great flavor. This will be the main item I brag about to my friends, family, and co-workers.
Service was great too; empty plates never stayed at our table for long, and they checked up on us just the right amount.
Thank you for the great meal. Next time I’ll give the salad another go, and try to take photos to update my review with.
Excellent meal choice!
