It’s okay. I wanted to support a local business that makes everything from scratch. I thought for the higher prices the burgers or handheld entrees would be bigger, but no they are regular smegular sized. Think smaller than a portillos burger or like someone else mentioned, equal to a burger king burger or even a steak and shake burger in size. Except for the one burger it costs $10. Fries not included.
The service is great, the workers are great. The man who took our order was very accommodating and helpful. The atmosphere is clean and the decor and vibe is interesting. I think the customer service was phenomenal. And I understand they are not in charge of pricing so no shade to them at all in this review.
But man, this food is just a little too pricey for the average person. Especially for the portions. For a company that has multiple locations you’d think they’re on the up and coming. There weren’t a lot of people when we visited. Likely for this reason. For one adult, expect to pay around $20. I understand they are trying to stay afloat with their pricing, that much is obvious. However the average customer will not think this is worth it. It’s very unfortunate.

First time eating at a skippy’s and tbh not really worth it food was sloppy the burger was falling apart and also I asked for a double bacon cheeseburger but only got the double not really worth it overall and 45$ for two people as well the service was great but still not adding bacon is kinda sloppy it’s worth going to Burger King and it won’t even be sloppy and actually adding things on the burger and getting meals and not buying one separately

I just had the worst gyro I’ve ever had in my life. I took 3 bites and couldn’t eat any more. And when I brought it all up to the counter, the woman working there would not give me a refund. Almost $24 for sour meat. All she said was “No one else has ever had a complaint”. And Im sure she will say the same thing to the next person that is unhappy with their food. Disgusting.

The person who took my order was great and polite. He brought me my food told me to enjoy then a lady came up and asked for a bag. He could’ve just handed it to her and been done but he gave her the bag and asked if her gyros were to her liking! The food was really good and sitting there eating was comfortable i would totally recommend coming here!!!!

Just paid over $21 for a flat thin bad chicken sandwich with everything which consist of a tomato and a piece lettuce. Small fries $4.50ish and a small side of ranch for $1.50.
Oh. And a bottle of water.
After I paid, I was only hoping for a decent sandwich which didn’t happen. I don’t understand how somebody can charge literally $1.50 for one of those small side crafts of ranch.
Haven’t been to Skippys in a long time.
Looks like I’m not missing out.

First off, I’ve had gyros at other stores. None of them hold a candle to this place. When I say they are delicious, that comes highly from me. I’m a picky guy when it comes to my food. You can’t go wrong with this place! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. I’ll definitely be back for another lunch in the near future.

Let me preface by saying this is my first experience here.
I saw the menu and was like “oh $13 for an 8 inch gryo seems a bit steep, but lets go ahead and do that with some fries”
In total it came out to $23 or so, not too insane.
I got home and took out this absolute BEHEMOTH of a gyro
This is the gyro of all gyros, the one from which all else came, and only spoken about in hushed voices from the furthest reaches of the world…
It’s dense. Like probably over 1lb of gyro meat dense, and will continue to feed me and my family for the next several days.
Its a meat mountain on top of a pita. The meat has good flavor, however could use some more tomato.
Value for money 11/10
I dont think I can go hungry after ordering this
Quality 8/10, could use more tomato, and the portioning is overwhelmingly meat, pretty good flavor and fresh ingredients
Service 9/10
I just wish they had warned me before I placed my order, Im full and have hardly put a dent in it, now the fries are untouched and soggy :c
Next time I go, I think I’ll order the smallest size.

Stopped in for a quick bite. We had a gyros dinner which was HUGE! One was enough for 2 of us. Impressed with the seasoning of the gyros. Would go back again

Been tempted to try them before but the price always deters me. Everything is over priced and small portioned. Meals have to be built individually item by item. A meals probably going to $23 per person.
Beefs are ok not great, but very skimpy. I never had a beef where I had to question if there was meat in the middle. I ordered a mega beef and boy was disappointed. There was nothing mega about it but the cost. $17 and did not include peppers/giardiniera or fries.
Overall, it’s just not worth it. Why overpay for food and it’s not even filling. $40 gone, appetite still there.
