Fantastic service, good drinks, and a beautiful beer garden. The bartender who made my mocktail yesterday was a sweetheart and patiently answered my questions and welcomed me to this unique spot. Don’t miss this gem!

I stopped in for lunch around 2:40pm.
Ordered a lunch Prime rib Philly sandwich at 2:50. I noted the time, because I could order from the lunch menu before 3pm.
I’ve been here for the Prime rib night and had to pack my patience, as they were SLAMMED.
The food was good, and I know they’re a hometown fav.
The place was relatively quiet today, which was good for me as I was hungry and looked forward to faster service this visit.
Placed my order at 2:50.
I sat at the table by the kitchen, and noticed no one was in there.
At 3:00, two guys clocked in and went into the kitchen.
One seemed to be in training, as I could hear them talking but not cooking.
At 3:10, I got up and cancelled my order that has not even been started.
Don’t know if I will be back, which is a shame, as I like to support smaller local businesses, but enjoy good customer service more.

So a few months since last coming here and wow were we disappointed. The Christmas cocktails they advertise for one they did not have all the ingredients! Now the service was just bad left with menus and then just left alone with not a hint of service, finished our drinks and left. Poor server did not even know if we had ordered! The manager who was there was clearly more engaged in not serving customers. When there are less than 12 people it should not be a complaint about poor service. This is not the servers fault as they seemed to be trying to keep up but the manager was present and did nothing. Used to have our business now from one zero rating it is gone.

Love this spot. We go here for breakfast almost every weekend.
Mad props to the kitchen staff who are always coming up with *AMAZING* specials.
All the food is great, no matter what time you show up.
The wait staff are so friendly and fun too.
This is also an amazing spot to stop if you ride a Motorcycle.

Great bbq oysters.
Always a stop for Anacortes Oyster run.
Bartenders are friendly.
Plenty of bike parking.
Large backyard area with plenty of seating.

I will add more later to this review. But when I drove by this little hole in the wall, figure of speech Tavern, I was happy to see it was still open and survived the brutal storms of the 2008 recession and COVID-19! On this day, I did not have time to stop in and have lunch, it’s been years since I’ve been here, I already know the proof is in the Pudding!

First time here, I have driven by so many times. Real old school biker bar, with a really large outdoor patio area. Food was excellent! Cuban with a Caesar salad and chicken bacon avocado wrap with a Caesar salad. If you don’t want salad, there’s other choices. Really excellent Caesar. I’ll probably take the sandwich home to eat it tomorrow!

Eileen is a gem! We stopped in for glass of wine and were greeted by a lovely lady behind the bar, Eileen. The consummate host!! A true dive bar with an amazing outdoor area out back. Horseshoes, heaters, corn hole and more, what a spot. We will return.

Just a good ole boys club. If your not a regular plan on everyone who is to be taken care of first! Took an hour to get a small pizza and when it arrived the crust was undercooked.

Was excited to try the food here, hearing such good reviews. Sadly we were underwhelmed and went somewhere else after ordering potato wedges. They looked and tasted terrible. At least they were kind enough to take it from our bill.
