Langley Kitchen is such a cozy, clean, and modern hang out spot. We stopped for lunch and enjoyed their outdoor seating area. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great! Staff was kind and accommodating. Check out this spot!

I had such a lovely time here that I’m a bit upset at myself for not having come much sooner. This is definitely my new favorite little bakery/cafe/nibble spot for downtown Langley. We tried a smattering of sandwiches and pastries and truly everything was fantastic. We especially loved the raspberry and lime scone, peach and fig jam scone, and turkey brie sandwich on foccacia. They also sell a lot of nice edible gifts (for yourself or others!) Inside including some of our favorite gourmet nut butters, coffees and wines. The outdoor covered patio area was very cozy and we almost didn’t want to leave!

Honestly, I walked in here thinking I was going to get an overpriced, mediocre sandwich, but boy was I wrong. Yea yea, its almost a $15 dollar sandwich but this is literally the BEST breakfast sandwich I have ever had! The Triple-Double is fabulous and I will literally be driving 2 hrs now just to get this sandwich. Other than that, my wife got the BLAT and enjoyed it as well.

I ordered their broccoli salad, it was absolutely delicious. It’s both sweet and savory. There was a lot of guests, you can tell people like it here. The outside seating is perfect. There are heat lamps if you get cold. The employees are very friendly and patient, and serve the food with a smile. Very much enjoyed and will come back.

It’s a very lovely and sparkling clean place. Service is great, food is great and healthy. My personal favorite is salmon cake which is really soft and juicy, Apple cinnamon is a must-try. Quiche is also very good. I don’t like strata very much, it’s too goaty, although it’s still okay to try. I like the clam chowder, although it will be much better if it has less potatoes.

Coming from out of state, we thought of taking a break from driving by exploring this area. Decided to have lunch here as it had good reviews. The weather being nice and warm, we enjoyed the outdoor seating although it was a bit crowded. I had the Pulled Pork sandwich with lemonade, and my gf had the Bayview sandwich with Raspberry Lime sparkling water. We also got a pastry. The pulled pork sandwich was yum but it was SO messy to eat. I had to use so many napkins. The lemonade was bad, it had a bitter taste – I ended up trashing it. My girlfriend enjoyed her sandwich, and the pastry was delicious. We also did-not appreciate the lack of restrooms, although the public restroom was close-by.

They have these round no hole doughnuts with sugar coating. Close to a French beignet, but really an American doughnut. Delicious with my morning coffee.

Update: Whoever is baking is channeling Saint Honoré. These Pumpkin Whoopie Pies are time machines to my childhood.

Update Update: I love chocolate. The chocolate pudding at Langley Kitchen is amazing. The consistency is somewhere between mousse and pudding. It is that kind of spoon play that is just fun to eat. The flavor is rich without being heavy. It’s just pure fun to enjoy.

So yummy! Saw this place had incredible reviews so wanted to check it out, it definitely lived up to the hype. The salmon cake melted in your mouth and the tortilla soup was flavorful. Great place to grab lunch or a coffee. There were quite a few families and couples there, they had ample seating outdoors. Highly recommend!
