Ordered via DoorDash. Food came fast and great until I found a clump of hair in my Beef & Broccoli. Won’t be returning.
*edit to respond to the owner* I have better things to do than “make up rumors” about a place I’ve been to once. The food tasted fine until I found hair IN my food. I’ve contacted Door Dash for a refund but as this was unhygienic my review felt warranted. Would never trust eating here again and after this response I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

A door dash order got mixed up but Nick just personally delivered the correct order himself! That is excellent customer service and always is greatly appreciated! Thank you for being kind and helping us out tonight! We always order from China House and enjoy our meal, but when people go above and beyond it should be recognized!

Place sucks and is always a disappointment. Came in and 2 people were waiting for their orders and I waited 5 minutes before I was acknowledged and then 2 gentleman came in and he took their order to which I responded hey what about me? I told him my number he goes yeah you called it’s not ready. Okay fine but how would he know that looking at me with no interaction. Then I get home and they give/charge me 2 appetizers instead of 1 and I end up paying 35$ for a single shitty meal. Save your money and go to china thai up the road.

1st, it took 10 minutes for someone to greet me when I arrived to pick up my order.
2nd, The website says “China House is a cornerstone in Flanders and has been recognized for its outstanding Chinese cuisine, excellent service and friendly staff.”
Not sure who came up with that statement because there’s way better chinese in the area. Don’t get me wrong the staff was friendly but the food was not “cornerstone” material. The general tso was over-fried to unchewable, and it was dry. It also stated it’d be spicy and that it was not. The egg drop soup was qouted to be “egg water”, the crab Rangoon was so tough to chew, the filling was super fishy, and over all the meal was just bland and disappointing.

First time eating at this popular spot. My wife and I were very fortunate to eat here on our 3 year anniversary. She was very impressed with the General Tso Chicken combo plate (comes with pork fried rice and egg roll). She was so impressed, she called her mother to tell her about that good chicken. Cooked perfectly and delicious taste. Great pork fried rice, good onion ratio.
Before my wife saw the order in the bag I actually hid the steamed dumplings in garage fridge. They are my favorite and I was scared she was going to eat them all. I told her they forgot them, but they didn’t, it was me. Please do not tell her. I went back later in the night to eat them in our garage.
All in all great experience. Five stars. I get the sense they appreciate my business. And I appreciate them putting in the hard work to feed our community.

DELICIOUS dumplings!! Plump, juicy, and generously sized. Wonton soup and crispy noodles were also fantastic, and the lo mein was just ok (but a huge portion). Food was steaming hot and ready quickly, and everything was reasonably priced.

Ordered 200 dollars worth of food a while ago, if I remember right we barely got any white rice for that size order, maybe 2 bigger containers, but this was for 7 or 8 entrees. We asked for a bunch of soup noodles and received 3 of them. Like really? U skimp on rice and soup noodles on a huge order? Most places will not only give u like 10 bags of noodles but usually a free appetizer or 2 when u spend that much. Not to mention the chicken and broccoli was pretty bland and about 75% broccoli, growing up this place was great but since new owners

Decided to try a different Chinese restaurant for a change. Ordered for delivery and was fine. Food was slightly better than we usually get except for the dim sum appetizer- absolutely inedible tasted like salt with a little meat sprinkled in surrounded by a very tough pasta crust. I’m thinking they sent the wrong item or messed up the recipe somehow. Live and learn – other food was pretty decent
