What a.great little restaurant. Food is excellent. Rice bowls, tacos and chicken sandwiches. Think crispy pork belly and Korean beef. Just absolutely delicious. Great service and ready to make your order as you wish. I almost always stop here when driving through Morehead.

Sole Ave is what happens when street food grows up but keeps its edge. Every bite is a color-saturated hit of heat, acid, crunch, and flavor. Housemade tortillas, fresh herbs, bold seasoning nothing feels mass-produced.

The fried chicken sandwich? Crispy, juicy, layered with funk and fire. The tacos? Artful without being precious. And that potato salad with crispy onion topping? Criminally underrated.

Expect bold flavors, smart textures, and zero shortcuts. This isn’t Tex-Mex it’s street-level soul food with a chef’s brain.

Date night idea: go to Junkyard Brewing, order all of the things takeout from Sol Ave Kitchen. This was amaaaaaazing. We loved the elote bravas, and each taco was uniquely delicious. Super fresh ingredients plus really thoughtful flavor combos. Their space is beautiful and the patio is magical in case you’re not feeling like brews next door. Ten out of ten, will eat here again…and again!

Eh, had high hopes on the varied menu but really didn’t hit. The papas bravas simply aren’t. Too salty and not properly fried. Appropriate name would be over-salty JoJo’s. The Brussels had a good flavor but were poorly cooked. Most were raw on the inside and others were soggy with oil. Chicken sandwich would be better if not so salty. Tacos were OK.

I loved the vegetarian bibimbap! It was a welcome twist on a classic Korean dish. The brussel sprouts were also delicious. We sat outside on a beautiful day making the experience relaxing. I will note several of their dessert options were not available. As dessert lovers, we chose to go somewhere else instead for that portion of the meal.

My partner and I absolutely love Sol Ave. Their braised carrot tacos and brussel sprouts are especially killer. Plus, they made my favorite piece of cake ever.

The food is always 10/10. But tonight I messed up my online order, and the staff whipped up one more taco for me right before closing. I know how much that sucks, thanks for helping me out.

Order from the brewery next door and enjoy a great beer too.

We ordered the Cubano and Bravas potatoes. Plus the chicken tacos.
Delicious.

Cool place I would recommend coming to it, I got the double crispy chicken sandwich and tried a few different rice bowls. Didn’t try any of the tacos, but for me, I found out Korean food is not really my type but that is probably just me. The food was hot and fresh most of my group liked it. Service was good and kept up with everything. Maybe I’ll come back and try some tacos because I know people really like them here.

This is a quaint restaurant and love the bright colors and that there’s outdoor seating. We ordered the dirty wings and were delicious! The wings were crisp were coated in a nice sauce. The pork belly taco was good and cauliflower taco was ok. We ordered the broccolini and was blown away with the flavor! The fruit salad was good a but zippy with the tamarind sauce. My husband got the chicken sandwich and seemed to like it. I got the Kimchelada which is something I would order again. Try this place if you want a different dining experience from the chain restaurants.
