Fantastic Filipino Food at Adobo Queens!
Nathan, the receptionist at the Holiday Inn Resort in Jekyll Island, recommended Adobo Queens for authentic Filipino food—and wow, was he right!
From the moment we walked in, owner Rachael and her son Miguel made us feel completely at home. Their warmth and friendliness set the tone for what turned out to be an amazing meal.
Everything is home-cooked and made to order, and it truly shows in the flavors. We tried the lumpia, pancit, and pork adobo, and every single dish was delicious. The lumpia was perfectly crisp, the pancit full of flavor, and the pork adobo tender and satisfying. Service was quick and efficient, even with the made-to-order approach.
They also have a small mart stocked with Filipino snack items—a fun bonus!
Adobo Queens may be a hole-in-the-wall, but it’s one of those hidden gems that delivers big on taste and hospitality. Absolutely worth seeking out if you’re in the area! Highly recommended.

Adobo queens truly is much better than I was expecting. From different kinds of fun beverages (like the Thai boba I tried) to the dessert I tried (Halo-Halo) it certainly wasn’t what I was expecting, but was a lot better than I was. When I entered the restaurant it had a small, family-like feel. I love how they had a lot of stuff from their home country. We went mid day on a Friday, probably around 3. We were the only people there. The workers we interacted with were speedy, kind, and friendly. I ordered a Thai boba as my drink, and it was honestly the best one I’ve had in awhile, especially in Brunswick. It was so sweet and the Tapioca balls weren’t under or over cooked. For my main dish, I ordered Tocilog, which is garlic rice, egg, and sweet and sticky pork. It was DELICIOUS! One of the best meals I’ve had in town. It came out fast, and hot and fresh. I particularly liked the pork, mostly because it was seasoned veryyy well. It was also an amazing price for the amount of food- 12.99 for a full meal? In this economy? Worth it. Then finally for dessert I got Halo-Halo. I wasn’t sure what I was expecting with it, but I loved it. Its hours are 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM Tuesday through Saturday, then they’re closed on Sunday and Monday. All the different textures and flavors in one make an experience that was unexpected but an enjoyable combination. I will for sure be making another visit!

10s across the board! First time experiencing Adobo Queens and we will be future frequent customers. The atmosphere is super welcoming and homey- you know you’ll be met with amazing comfort food. For the appetizer, the lumpia is a must! Perfectly crispy and addictive filling inside. My boyfriend ordered the pork adobo combo while I got the sisig, and we both ordered it spicy. Normally, eating out and asking for spice is a lost cause, as it’s usually not up to our personal par. However, the Adobo Queens delivered! Hot enough but just enough for the rest of the flavor to really shine. We also got Thai tea and mocha boba, which was also really great. The part that ties everything to together is the wonderful staff. Our waitress was very accommodating and kind, she really made the whole experience. We got to thank the chef for our meal, she was the cutest lady ever. We really recommend this local spot, yall show them some love!

Loved this place. Authentic Philippine cuisine made with love. Wish I had a place like this back home. If you like Asian food, this is the place for you. I couldn’t decide on the menu what to have as everything looks so good on their picture menu. Nice family operated establishment. The Chef/Owner is from the Philippines and livedg highh gg in Korea for a while, so this is real authentic. I also had the Taro Bubble Tea. Yummy!

Great fresh food, kind attentive service. Everything was awesome! We pulled up to a seemingly empty strip mall and thought this would be either really good or really bad. It was so good! Definitely recommend.

Fast, friendly service. The food was mostly good–I had the pansit with chicken, and it was tasty. Thai milk bubble tea was good. The lechon kawaii was crunchy, but not seasoned or even salted, so it didn’t taste good. The pot stickers were great. Very small and crowded restaurant. I’d go back.

This food was amazing and authentic! The staff were very kind and hospitable. The restaurant has been here for about 3 years, and seems to be the only Filipino restaurant in the area. You can tell the food is made fresh. I will definitely be coming back! Come support this awesome local business!

Authentic Filipino Restaurant!!

I’m so glad I found this place the eve before going home!

THIS place reminded me of being in a Filipino house hold. The atmosphere is amazing. Ate May took the time to greet me and ask for my name. She remembered it and addressed me with it the whole time. The locals coming in seems do have a good relationship with the staff going beyond the courtesy of hello.

The food was amazing!! It’s like my family made it.

I had Kare Kare, they had bagoong with with! The presentation was beautiful and they already got the oxtail off the bone for easy eating. Of course I had it with rice

For dessert, I had Turon and ice cream. First time pairing it with ice cream but it worked out really well. The Turon was crunchy and glazed as it should be. Delicious!

The price is really reasonable, the thing to keep in mind is that Filipino food is made to be shared. The food I had today would have filled up my mom, and grand parents with left overs. I also bought cornick which added to the price.

Really amazed by this place.

Highly recommend it!

I stopped by looking for a boba drink, and I was pleasantly surprised by the warm atmosphere and exceptional service. Right after I placed my order, another customer walked in, and the staff greeted him by name. He shared how much he loved their food, mentioning that he’s only been eating here for three weeks but has already become a regular. That night, he was buying extra to take home for his wife, with more for her to enjoy the next day. To me, that speaks volumes about the quality and care this place offers. I’m excited to come back and explore more of their menu!
