Donald’s has one of the best grilled polish sausages around! Every Thursday you can get one with fries for $6.50 which is a great deal. The pizza puff is always a classic, their fish sandwich is pretty good and the italian beef is darn tasty. Not much space to sit inside, it gets pretty busy around lunchtime so carryout is recommended. This is one of the few places left that accepts (and prefers) cash as payment.

This place really hit the spot. Just one of those classic Chicago spots where the focus is all about the food. You can smell the grilled sausage and onions as soon as you walk in, that alone had me sold.
I ordered the Polish sausage, I just wanted something solid. But this one totally surprised me. It was loaded with chopped onions, thick tomato slices, a big crunchy pickle, and a couple sport peppers. Not your usual Maxwell Polish.
The sausage was grilled just right, nice and crisp on the outside, and super juicy when I bit into it. It came out hot, fresh, and fast, maybe a 5-minute wait. The staff was super friendly and welcoming.
If you’re looking for a solid Polish or just want to try something that feels classic Chicago, this is it.

Time for another bad review. This place is a dump. I was in a hurry to Berwyn so I figured to grab a couple hotdogs on the fly. The view from the other side of the counter is scary of how dirty it can be behind the scenes. Thus probably explains the food poisoning Im probably experiencing. Ive had diarrhea for 2 days now. Food smelled weird tbh but I was starved. I’m paying for it now. Never would I go back.

What happened to this place? They raised their prices sky high. $8.49 for a pepper and egg sandwich? Same price for a pork chop sandwich…both use to be priced at $4.99. The food is pretty good but $8.49 for two eggs and a few seat peppers?

I went in on a Saturday with my wife and we tried the Saturday special, Superburger with fries, and we also ordered an Italian beef. The Italian beef had great flavor and plenty of beef. The superburger wasn’t anything “super”. It wasn’t bad, but when you name a burger “super” it should stand out. It tasted like any other grilled burger from any other hot dog joint. With that being said, I definitely will be back to try other menu items in the future.

I been meaning to share this since October 11th and it was so good I’m posting now 10 days later because I feel we shouldn’t only complain. This taco was SOOOO GOOD and the salsa too ! I asked for well done gyro meat, no problem . I appreciate when I spend and get what I ask for .

This used to be my place for steak tacos since they were $2.00 a taco. Unfortunately the quality of steak has decline and at $3.49 a taco, it’s mostly fat and unacceptable. Today, 11MAY23 at approx 1115 a.m. I pulled all this fat out of two tacos as you can see in the picture. I cannot recommend this place anymore unless you just want hotdogs.

This place is a quick in-n-out. Order is taken right away, service is good and the place has great vibes. You can’t beat the prices here. My favorite deal is the “6 hotdogs special, and the 2 hotdogs with fries”. No, its nit just for me. Lol. It can feed my whole family.
