We always come to this location & typically have a great experience, so we decided to come for lunch. Unfortunately, it wasn’t that great of a visit. It took a while to get the water that we ordered before we even ordered our first round. Then it just took forever to get basically anything we asked for whether it was a fork or food. I asked for sides 3 times before I eventually got it, ordered soup & when it finally came he said it just came out yet the tofu was falling apart & it wasn’t even hot. I completely understand it was busy, but I’ve been here on a Friday night & received better service.

I’m fine with being dinner prices for lunch on a Saturday, if I was able to get decent service and food to come out in a timely manner. Horrible service. Seems like it is run by high school students.
Grills not changed. We turned off the heat because it was burning and the waiter turned it on and left without changing the grill.
The food took forever to come out. They had nothing to bring so brought more banchan that we did not eat or ask for.
Constantly have to ask for things multiple times.
This location is horrible compared to the one down the street. Is this a training location?

We were really looking forward to trying this place, but it ended up being a bit of a disappointment. The appetizers were ok but the quality of the meat was bad. We also had to call for the server several times before getting any attention. The restaurant was uncomfortably cold, and the music was so loud it made it hard to talk. For the price, it just didn’t feel worth it, and we probably won’t be coming back.

Tried again to visit this place after several years of avoiding it. They opened a second location in the same parking lot.
Unfortunately, the second location isn’t a location. It’s overflow. You’ve got to walk across the parking lot and still wait. We had one missing from our party and they refused to seat us. So terrible.

I really wish this could have been a five star review. The food was so great we got brisket, beef bulgogi, the fried dumplings. All the food was so delicious, but the service was beyond disappointing. I usually do not complain about service, I understand they are busy as it was a Saturday for lunch when we went. I don’t understand why they opened a second location since the first one was so busy to then not have the first location open. Our server was so busy that when we only ordered a few plates to start he told us to order more because he would be “too busy” to come back to let us order again..isn’t that the point of all you can eat? We wanted more sauce for our meat and had to wait 10 minutes to even get anyone’s attention. At the end we were deciding if we wanted to order more and he came back turned off our grill and basically told us we were done. Then he just dropped the check off not even asking us if we wanted dessert or anything else. We won’t be coming back here due to the lack of service. We felt very unwelcome by our waiter sadly.

One of my favorite ayce KBBQ restaurants. Great selection of meat and service is generally very good. They opened up multiple locations right next to each other so it definitely helps with wait times. I highly recommend their soy honey beef belly. It adds so much flavor and in my opinion is better than brisket.

The food is borderline acceptable… The place is super loud for any restaurant, cold enough for us to keep our jackets on, and the service is slow as hell even on a Monday night. The staffs are friendly.

The place was very packed and it seemed like management was only interested in seating people rather than helping the servers and waitress. The food had varying serving sizes and cut sizes and any marinated meats were severely lacking in any marination or flavor. Only positive I can say is the variety, the price and our server was trying her best.

The food is good, the only issue is the music can be incredibly loud and clubby. Went early on a Sunday and saw several family’s asking the manager why trap music is blaring at 11 am, eventually she got it, turned it down a few decibels and put on something other then trap rap. The staff is nice. Weird thing tho is they have a new location in the same parking lot. That threw a bunch of people off since the main location looked available but everyone’s directed to go to another one.

I didn’t know the workers at this Gen would be this terrible. I came with a party of 8. First of all the waiters were slow even though we were the first customers in there and they didn’t even serve us water until a lot later. Barely refilled it, we had to ask. The waiter doesn’t remember what dishes we ordered and didn’t even came with half of it, even gave us wrong dishes. Our waiter forgot to change our grill it ended up being super burnt and crusty.
Honestly if you want to go to Gen then go to the original location next-door, which is 1000% times better. The people are kinder and the service is so much better. Do not go to the small one. It is not worth it, trust me!!!
