The staff are delightful. The restaurant is clean and there is a bright cheerful energy.
I tried the Huevos ranchos on my first visit and it was spectacular.
The homemade tortillas are amazing.
The flavor was on point. Totally satisfied.
Then I came back and tried Pastorquiles and I have to say it was even better then Huevos
i love pastor and this is some of best out there. If you haven’t tried this spot make it a top priority.
Thank you for a wonderful breakfast. I will be back to try more off this awesome menu.

I absolutely loved my brunch time here! I came with a bunch of my family and we anticipated a wait to sit down, but was surprised by the earlier timeframe. Gustavo served our table and was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful with suggestions and our questions! We ordered a variety of things including the burritos, bowls, crepes, french toast, and huevos rancheros. Everything came out super hot and fresh, even with our table of 8!
The juices were delicious too – they are freshly squeezed and felt like a healthy start to the meal.
Highly recommended for brunch! Get there early as the wait time came get long!
The food here is delicious, fresh and full of flavor. I ordered the Sunny Up Burrito with queso blanco salsa, 2 over easy eggs on top. Ordered a scone to share topped with fruits, drizzled jam and powdered sugar. My friend ordered the Banderquiles with chicken. The portions were more than enough and filling.
Atmosphere was great. We sat at the bar since that became available first. It was a busy morning but ordered in a timely manner and food came out hot and fresh. People here were friendly especially the owner. Such a sweet lady. We will definitely be back.
One note…the serving size is great but they are kind of pricey. $18 for a breakfast burrito with egg. Without egg it is $16 AND does not come with potatoes or anything else.
Searching for breakfast while visiting Cottonwood Heights. Found the usual suspects offering eggs and omelets but wanted something different.
Eventually came across Sol and Sabor. Wow, what a menu of authentic Mexican dishes and more. Most items I had not heard of before.
Staff were very friendly and helped me choose a delicious dish of Pastorquiles. It was amazing.
I was surprised that this place was not busy at 9am on a Saturday. It certainly deserves to be.
