We live in the area and wanted to try someplace different eat at and we selected Hucks in Rudyard, Michigan. We were not disappointed. I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger with Curley Fries which was an upgrade, it comes with house made chips normally. I paired my meal with Angry Orchard Hard Cider which was on tap. My son ordered a Bacon Burger and House Made Fries. He had a lemonade with his meal. My wife had a Chicken Sandwich with the house made chips. The burgers were made with fresh ground beef you could tell by the size and shape. The burgers were delicious. The fry portions were huge as you can see in the photos. The Curley fries were good. I had some of my sons hand cut fries and they were perfect, I really like them better than the Curley Fries, but they were both good. I had some of the house chips not my favorite they cold not hot. Would we go there again yes. Next time we will order a pizza. Its worth the trip to Rudyard to go to Hucks for a meal. We went on a Monday and it was busy.

Rolled in with 24 people for early lunch on a Saturday 12/6/25. One waitress on duty and she didn’t miss a beat. Friendly staff and atmosphere, great food served quickly. Great local pub, glad we stopped in!

Hucks is a very comfortable and friendly atmosphere, i usually pop in for some carry out . They have excellent things crust pizza . I really love the nachos. But mostly I have to mention their homemade style fries , best ever . I love to dip them in ranch ! I have never had ,but usually while I am waiting for my food . I hear alot of people order their homemade soup and by alot of people, I mean everyone ! I am going to try some on my next visit ! If your hungry or just thirsty, you will have a pleasurable visit

This restaurant is very charming with good food. However, I’ve stopped ordering from this place. On numerous occasions (5+), I ordered my burger well done with no pink meat. On all occasions except one, my burger was pink. The staff is super nice, and the curly fries are great, but they can’t seem to get a request for a fully cooked burger correct.

Huck’s is a great small town pub. Live music nights is an added bonus, too. The place welcomes locals and new faces alike. Supper specials are a great deal, and for a hardy appetite, Tammy and the entire kitchen crew don’t disappoint
The owners often pop in to say hi and be sure everyone is happy. If you find yourself thirsty, hungry, and ready for a little rest & relaxation, give Huck’s a visit. I know you’ll be glad you did.

Myself and our party of 6 were in the establishment for just over two hours, and not because we wanted to be. We were one of 5 tables sat during our time there, around 20 customers total. One waitress, one bartender, and one cook working the whole place. It was 45 minutes before our food order was taken, and about another 45 for it to come out. Everyone was kind, and it wasn’t super loud or busy for prime lunch time, but clearly understaffed and frustratingly slow

Generally when we stop and eat our service and food is very good. Yesterday was definitely different. The service was good but the food was not good at all this time. We had the rib special. The ribs were tough. They seemed as if they were burnt under the sauce. They also had a freezer burnt taste to it. It was if they had been cooked at a different time and just reheated. Not impressed at all. The coleslaw wasn’t its usual tasty treat either. The soup was great, and the fries were good. Just going to have to stick to the regular menu items and keep away from the specials.
