My husband and I stopped in for a late dinner last night. There were a few people waiting in line ahead of us. It seemed like they were understaffed but the young lady with short hair tried her best to get through the line and get peoples orders in. There was another young lady who helped her taking orders. We did have a longer wait then normal but I can understand that the workers were probably over worked and trying to keep up.

While I was there, the staff encouraged me to leave a 5-star review, offering a coupon or a drink in return. I can appreciate the hustle, so I went along with it and grabbed a free Diet Coke. However, after reviewing my food at home, I decided to remove the positive review. They delivered on the extra pickles, which was great, but the chicken on my sandwich wasn’t fully cooked. The boneless wings were nearly inedible, like tough, hard balls of chicken. I couldn’t even finish them. On the bright side, the pickle lemonade was pretty good—refreshing and tangy. Still, I’m confused about why I had to wait for a meal that was either undercooked or overdone. I really wanted the pickle-themed menu to be a fun experience, but in the end, it was a huge letdown.

Went through drive-thru today and was parked for 19 minutes. When they brought me my food she bluntly said here ya go.” After quickly checking my order I noticed that it didn’t have the fries included. She went and got the fries and brought them back in a to-go back (no fry bag). Again she said, “here ya go” as she handed me my fries in a very greasy bag (with no fry container). Not once in this whole exchange was there even a ‘Thank you.’ There were also 2 other cars behind us that had to be parked. We were first in line when we arrived.

I got lunch for my granddaughter (she lives on the tenders) lol, to meet up at school to have lunch with her. The fries were great nice crispy and hot. The tenders were so tough could barely bite through. One tender looked really weird and it grossed her out. Also one tender did not look like it was completely cooked, the texture was off. She ended up only eating pieces of them and her fries. Bet disappointed today. Plus they did not give a receipt after I asked for one. They told me it was in the bag because they had to bring it out to me in the car.

I’m a little frustrated with this location. We absolutely love Popeyes in my family, but the last few times I’ve been to this location the food and service have been terrible. Today, the woman at the window was rude and talking poorly about the customer in front of me to me. When I left, I realized that our order wasn’t right. It felt like they were in such a hurry to get us out of there that they didn’t pay attention to what we were ordering. Last time, the mashed potatoes were hard and not edible. I’m not really sure how mashed potatoes even get hard. I hope this location steps up their game. The building itself is new and in great condition. It’s a great addition to downtown Montgomery, but the service and quality of food really need some work.

I had an unpleasant experience at the drive-thru at the Popeyes on Hwy 105 due to the manager on duty. While I was actively transferring funds to complete payment, she became impatient and blamed me for drive-thru times. The tone and body language were aggressive and unnecessary.
This could have been handled professionally with a polite request to pull forward, but instead it felt confrontational. I also observed the manager yelling at staff just before interacting with customers. The food was fine, but the customer service was not.

Highly recommend this Popeyes location. Excellent customer service. The manager Neisha is friendly and kind. She took the time to explain the different family meals and did not make us feel rushed or that my questions were bothersome. bothersome. GREAT JOB Popeyes and thank you Neisha.

I went to get the $6.00 box but since I only eat breast
I was willing to pay extra.
At 1st I was told I couldn’t do that

That’s exactly what I did at the Popeyes in Montgomery in front of Home Depot.
At the one in Montgomery I paid $1.00 extra for each breast.
At the one down the street they charged me $1.79 extra for each breast.
I said nothing about it.
Then I bought 2 extra biscuits which were hard when I got home and Popeyes is only 2 miles from my home if that far.
I paid my bill and started to leave when she stopped me because they hadn’t put my extra biscuits in my bag.
From now on I’ll drive the extra 5 miles and go to the Popeyes in Montgomery.
At least they were friendly and didn’t give me a hassle about getting breast.
Now I know why this Popeyes had no business inside nor no one else in the drive thru.
I just wanted my food and didn’t need the attitude.

I love Popeyes and was so excited for this new location in Montgomery to open hoping for better food and service than the location by Lake Conroe. Well it is just as bad if not worse. Went last night for a 5 piece dinner with 2 sides. Ordered 2 breasts and 3 wings. Had to pay an up charge of 1.69 for a breast that was the size of a chicken thigh.
Got home with only 4 pieces of chicken.
Guess someone needs to go back to school and learn how to count. The 2 sides were 1/2 full at best. Almost looked like someone had eaten out of 1 of them. 2.99 for a side that maybe contains 3 tablespoons
of mash potatoes and beans and rice.
That’s just a big rip off! The containers get smaller and smaller each year. At least fill the dam thing up. Was supposed to get 3 chicken wings but only got 2.
They were so tiny I literally got 2 bites out of each. Wish i could post a picture of them here. Put a water bottle cap beside the wing to show the size. Just pitiful how small they were.
So much for dinner for 2.
