Understaffed, the counter lady was busy restocking stuff for the drive thru, she was nice enough and helped with a food issue but we stood there for a long time. The mashed potato was flat. The chicken had some glob of gristle or something so it got tossed. The float was only so so and that’s why we went there.

It took them forty five minutes to get my order of ten mini corn dogs and they served every single person who came to the store 10+ minutes after me before me.

We went through the drive thru on our way to Fairmont. The food was good and it was hot. I haven’t had A&W in quite awhile and this stop sure hit the spot. The onion rings were the clear winner for me. They were warm and crispy, so good! The fies weren’t our favorite, but they were evenly cooked and evenly seasoned.

Chance was helpful, the lady working tonight needs some manners. So, it took forever in the drive through, we were the only one in the drive through at the time. Finally got our stuff from a young lady that was either flustered, or just really didn’t like her job… As soon as we pulled away I went into the bag to give my husband his food and my food wasn’t there, instead of a breast combo I got a nuggets box. We decided that if it was because we ordered the wrong thing, we would keep it, but we couldn’t find our receipt. So I went inside with my card and the nuggets to talk to her. Chance asked how he could help, I told him what happened, and he asked for the receipt. I told him we didn’t get one, but that he should ask the drive through gal as I asked if the breast or thigh was bigger, and then ordered the K2 combo. But again, that we were given the K12 instead. It seemed to have flustered him as well, and he was hesitant to talk to her. He started printing receipts, looking for ours, and couldn’t find it. Eventually she came up and snapped at him and I saying “I couldn’t print your/her receipt”. Which sounds pretty sketch if you ask me… how do I know you didn’t skim my card?! So after her saying it would be a minute from across the kitchen and him being too flustered again to ask what to do… Everyone just stood around waiting for her to take and bag drive through orders while I waited for mine that had been originally ordered 30 minutes ago… All I needed was the right chicken… I had all my sides… So I’m just sitting there in front of the glass window with the chicken that would take <1 minute to bag while I watch her take & bag FULL orders for other people in the drive through. Eventually Chance grabs me a full K2 combo and tells me to keep the nuggets because of the wait.

Thank you, Chance! Give him a raise if you want to keep a good employee! I doubt he will last much longer with her.

Summary… Any kind of apology would be step one(didn’t get that from her), step two would be solve problems before taking new orders. Lastly, if your going to be slow, I don’t mind it so long as my order is right because it means you took your time to serve me accurately, otherwise you’re wasting everyone’s time.

I get it… everyone has bad days and gets flustered or aggravated, but taking it out on coworkers and employees isn’t productive. Just take a deep breath, refocus, and remind yourself that you’ve got this! And then move forward with what is most urgent.

Also, maybe hire people that can communicate without snapping at their coworkers… Chance probably would have been able to help sooner if he wasn’t too afraid to talk to her.

Food was ok, warm, not hot, beans were cold though. Service could definitely be better.
A receipt and an apology really would have gone a long way too.

Unfortunately short staffed. One person was training/helping two others. They were nice and apologetic but it took a long time to get food nonetheless. Waited at least 15 minutes for take out. Drive thru was moving ok. They must have been making more orders for drivers while around five of us waited inside.

Door to men’s room was locked and I didn’t want to slow them down to ask for key. Or maybe they just closed it because they didn’t have enough people to maintain it.

I’ve stopped here a good few times before and service has always depended on the crew working at the time. Sometimes it’s great and other times it’s terrible. Food is always what you would expect from a fast food restraunt with a little bit of variation, also dependent on the crew. Today, though, a couple of older women working were throwing an absolute temper tantrum. Yelling and screaming swearing left and right with kids in the restraunt. And now it is getting quite smoky in the restraunt…
Half an hour in. No more smoke, but still no food.
45 minutes and we finally got our food.
Employees apologized, and were were nice, but damn that was a while.
