Great entertainment Bill Marx. Food has gotten to be “just ok” and quite expensive. Staff don’t always seem to want to be there….like you are bothering them when you ask for something. They have a locked in clientele and seem to be taking full advantage of that fact. Disappointed by this last visit.

what a great night we made reservations for dinner especially to see the wonderful Eve Holmes Eve put on a great show her music voice and elegance made for a great night we took a friend from France to see her and she loved Eve. the lovely server was helpful super professional with great sense of humor as well as the nice host who made sure i had my fav booth when i have attended before love the Marilyn booth The dinner was excellent the chef prepared wonderful meals for us is he a new one since the last year thanks for great evening

A small venue that’s open to the public in an HOA. The food here is quite reasonably priced and quite good as are the drinks from their full bar. Service was great, and the entertainment was good and the artisis were friendly and anxious to please. An overall good experience.

We were visitors to Palm Desert and stopped by this iconic place three winter’s ago on a Wednesday evening on the recommendation of a person we met at a local spa. Totally unplanned and totally delighted. The place was full other than a couple of empty tables, it was decorated for the Holidays, and the singers and musicians were awesome. We loved the food, loved getting to know other diners, loved the gracious service, and the entire experience. So much so that we are reminiscing about AJ’s On The Green right now as we listen to 40’s Big Band music back in Minnesota in the middle of the 2020 pandemic. We will return!

We went last night and enjoyed the wonderful jazz music! We had appetizers and they were good and the Sangrias were fantastic! The only down side was that the soup that was so good 2 weeks ago was NOT good this time and not burning hot and not a large portion

I had a wonderful time at AJ’s on the Green and Splash Lounge. I’m a freelance professional jazz pianist, and one of my music colleagues is a guitarist named Doug McDonald, and he performs there several nights a week with his trio. I have worked with him on and off for about 12 years, and when the opportunity came up to sit in with him at the lounge, I took advantage of it! I was out in Palm Springs with my husband in mid-December, at our timeshare, so we went to the lounge for dinner (which was good) and drinks one night and I sat in with Doug and played a bunch of numbers on their nice baby grand piano. In the two sets during which I sat in, I accompanied some of the guest singers, and also played on a few instrumentals. It was a lot of fun, and everyone there was so welcoming and friendly, and especially, so complimentary of my piano playing! It was a wonderful atmosphere, and it made the evening really special. My husband got the same vibe, too, and that can’t be said of every place that we have gone. So he and I will think of this place as being exceptional.

What a blast from the past! Open mike night was enjoyable and the service was great. Super friendly staff. Seemed like everyone was having a great time. Only had appetizers so can’t really lend my opinion to the food. The menu is not super fancy but priced fairly. Love the history of this restaurant.

Just checked health dept. Report. Yikes! Shut down………too bad.Beautifully decorated for New Year’s Eve! Pleasant service but our server “left the building” somewhere along our evening, never to return……so we sat for quite a while unattended……..
But – food was delicious starting with the clam chowder which was HOT creamy, followed by a very nice sized mixed green salad with REAL blue cheese dressing (bits of blue cheese within it), 2 of us had the steak which was HUGE and perfectly cooked with some crusty bits (yum) on it and a delicious sauce (came with carrots, scalloped potatoes), one of us had the lobster tail which was on the small side (and a simple drawn butter to dip in would’ve been nice but instead there was a garlic/parsley/butter mix which just took away from the lobster) but still delicious, dessert was New York Cheese Cake.
Once someone noticed we were still there……the champagne flowed freely throughout!
The piano player was excellent but the songs were a little tired and depressing. The rest of the “show” was a snoozeville unfortunately.
Will try again for dinner/drinks/bar. Recommend.

Fabulous food & entertainment. The staff went out of their way. Lee the owner gets around personally to meet all the guests, I love that!! Loved visiting while in the states. Can’t wait for my next holiday over, will be back for sure!
