Although I love Malta, it was great to immerse oneself in food from a particular region of Italy. The people who run this lovely restaurant were genuine as was the food which was outstanding and felt as if we were in Liguria for the period we had a lovely meal at this restaurant. Service was first class and the whole experience was very memorable.

Service was warm and welcoming. There is an outdoor and indoor dining area. There is a large selection of food. We ordered the squid pasta and rabbit tagliatelle. We also ordered the special tomato with tuna. There is unfortunately no draught beer. The restaurant is intimate and had a homely vibe.

Definitely the best italian food we have ever tried. The tiramisu was divine, self-made pesto is so worth it, had the chance to try it on complimentary focaccia before the meal. The service is great, the atmosphere of the restaurant is very cozy. The meat in the sauce (ravioli) tasted great, all in all amazing experience, highly recommend!

This was THE BEST Italian food I’ve had in a long time! The pesto was the TASTIEST I’ve ever had (even after living in Italy for a year) and the pasta was perfection! We initially thought it looked quiet but there is another dining area away from the windows which was super cosy, authentic and just lovely! Excellent service and wonderful food, do not miss it!

The food was delicious. Best Italian food I’ve had outside of Italy. But we waited a long time just to order our drinks.
My partner said that he smelled some weird smell, like old dirty cloths or something (we don’t know if it was the curtains or tablecloth).

The best food in Malta! Super friendly staff, very attentive, very personal. Great starters (I even forgot to take a picture – how good it was!). Great collection of wines! We tried gnocchi with pesto (homemade pesto is magic!), rabbit with potatoes (very tender). And the best was the end – tiramisu! I will be back next time I’m in Malta – highly recommend if you love Italian food ♥️

A small and cozy spot where you can sit down and eat excellent Italian-style food. The pesto is an endless delight, refined and delicate, just like in Liguria, honestly the best you can find in Malta. The “Brandacujun” (hope that’s the right name) is sublime. Portions are good. The friendly, fun service lets you spend a chill hour.
Unfortunately the area isn’t the best: it’s hidden and a bit dirty, but the restaurant itself is clean. It’s a pity it’s not in a seaside location… it would be 5 stars.

We wanted to come here yesterday but they weren’t open (close on Monday). I’m so glad that we tried to visit again today. It is so worth it. Being dubbed as one of the top 100 best restaurants in Malta, this place does have lots to offer. The complimentary focaccia with pesto was tasty. We were very impressed by the octopus starter, which is so far the best octopus we have had in Malta. The squid ink seafood pasta is to die for, and it’s very good to try the Ligurian pancake pasta. Tiramisu is excellent and so is the forrero rocher inspired cake. We would love to come again and this place is one of the reasons why we plan to visit Malta again soon!
