Hidden gem.
The lamb and chicken mandi were both so incredibly tender and delicious (with just a hair more salt on the chicken, but that was at the table). I can tell you that I will definitely be craving the cardamom custard (malabia) and the rice going forward. I could literally make a meal of JUST those two things they were so good.
Family owned business trying their best to make you feel cared for! The server (husband of the family, I assume) was just so incredibly sweet and eager to please. 🙂
The prices were very reasonable and food came out pretty fast. My only thing I’d say they could work on would be to pan fry the bread for 30 seconds or so to reheat it before you get it. The flavor was there, but it would have been better hot with just a slight crisp.

We had a wonderful experience at Cafe Yemen last night. It’s a family owned restaurant that feels welcoming and very clean. The food was absolutely delicious authentic Yemeni flavors made with care, and everything tasted fresh. Portions were generous and very satisfying. You can truly tell a lot of heart goes into both the food and the service. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Yemeni cuisine.

The food is DELICIOUS and very reasonably priced. The portions are large and well worth the money. We got the 1/2 chicken mandi and a falafel sandwich and it was so good. The service was great and the guy who helped us was very friendly. 10/10 will definitely be back for more!

My friend and I just went to this establishment for the first time this evening and we were not disappointed. I got the fava bean vegetarian dish and she got their Yemeni special with beef. Both were outstanding, as were the salad and bread that came with them. The prices were reasonable, the service was excellent and personable, and the establishment was clean and welcoming. I highly recommend trying this new restaurant!

I have tried Yemen style food like Kabsah, Haneeth, Mandi. This place is definitely one of the best Mandi place. I asked the owner why he also does not present Lamb Kabsah or Lamb Haneeth.
Today My family and I went there for the first time after seeing the review. They are really good. We tried Lam shank mandi and lamb mandi. Food was delicious. They need some more options like Kabsah. Overall I will try again.

My family and I went to this Yemen restaurant tonight and were excited to try it out. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was amazing. We got the Meat Mandi platter which was really delicious,the meat was falling off the bone and the rice was nicely cooked. Everything else was great but The only feedback I would give is for the rice to be seasoned more with salt and for the rice and meat to be served more hot when it came to the table because it was cold when we were eating it . I realize they just opened but I want them to improve inshallah. However ,we will definitely be back in the future inshallah

Delicious food! The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome! The meat was juicy, and the smell of the rice was wonderful, paired with a cool side salad. The side of hot sauce was fantastic. Each dish was made perfectly. Can’t wait to visit again soon!

Absolutely outstanding! I tried the Mandi mix with lamb and chicken, and it was perfection. The rice was fragrant, fluffy, and full of authentic Yemeni spices. Both meats were tender and juicy — the chicken had a beautiful smoky flavor while the lamb was fall-off-the-bone delicious. The portion was generous and beautifully presented. Service was warm and attentive, and the ambiance made it feel like a true Middle Eastern experience. Easily one of the best Mandi meals I’ve ever had — highly recommend to anyone who loves flavorful food!
