The food was delicious, nice portions and little restaurant. The service was disappointing, I have been to two other Doug’s and the service has been outstanding. I felt like the waitress was put out when I asked for creamer for my coffee and when she did get it she dropped it in the middle of the table as she was walking by with out saying anything. Sometimes the service recieved can put you off going back even if the food is good. Might have just been an off day for her so we will give it another shot.

First of all, Opal, our server, is amazing! She checked on us multiple times. She offered juice and coffee to go.
The food was very good and extremely plentiful. My husband’s 12′ platter, Papa’s Carne Asada, was filled with an abundance of meat, eggs, and sauce.
I ordered the Sharon omelet, the perfect blend of veggies, guac, and eggs.
Highly recommend!

We absolutely love this new collaboration between Bucketlist Tavern and Doug’s Diner! We’ve been here a few times now for breakfast and have had an amazing experience every time. The whole staff is friendly and amazing, but Franki is incredible! I am convinced there is nothing bad on the menu, but I love the Huevos Socorro with carne asada and their toasted biscuits are LIFE CHANGING! This is a great addition to Castle Rock!

First off this place was great since they opened, but now that they are doing breakfast it is our weekly go to morning and afternoon. I’m glad there is a good spot on the north end of town now. Highly recommend for both breakfast or beers.

The food was excellent, hot, and delivered quickly. The service was exceptional. Opal was our server and she checked on us multiple times, made sure the coffee cup was never empty, and was extremely pleasant. Great experience.

I have been here several times as Bucket List but it’s
my first time here for breakfast (Doug’s Diner). The food was excellent and the service was outstanding Phay was very attractive and is very personable. Will definitely be coming back.

I had the biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs. My server took my order right away. I still waited about a half hour for my food, and it was luke warm when I got it, like it had been sitting in the kitchen for a little bit before being brought out. My server, although friendly, took awhile for me to get closed out and I spent about an hour there just for brunch. I’d like to give this place another shot, but probably won’t get the B&G again.
