So I hardly ever leave bad reviews but the only reason I even gave them a 2nd star was because the guy was incredibly nice. So, I went through the drive-thru tonight and was told to pull forward and there I sat for at least 30 minutes. Mind you, all I got was a fish sandwich, Mac n cheese and a surf n turf basket. When they finally brought me the food, half of it was missing, so I had to park and go inside. I immediately saw my other bag of food in the back. I finally had all of my food, it was cold, but I thought I’d just throw it in the air fryer at this point. When I got home I was SO upset. There was one tiny scoop of Mac n cheese, it took up maybe a fourth of the little container and the chicken tenders in my son’s surf n turf box were inedible. All of them were tiny, shriveled, and very hard. We didn’t even heat them back up, we just threw them away. I uploaded pictures and there’s a regular spoon next to them for measure. I worked in food and customer service for over 15 years and I know it sucks when you get busy and you’re rushed, and even if you’re short staffed, if that was the case, but I seriously could not believe they let this food go out of that restaurant. I thought I was waiting half an hour because they had to cook it all but no definitely not the case. I LOVE popeyes but I highly doubt I’ll ever go back to that one.

There were only two people working. They were hard working the whole time we were there. The wait wasn’t but a minute. Great communication while we waited. Tiffany & Josh not only worked great as a team, they were great at customer service.

Best chicken tenders in town by far. Same with the shrimp. Always greeted with a friendly hello and a smile. I love my Popeyes Louisiana kitchen in Ellijay Georgia ❤️

It was so refreshing to go into a restaurant where there were smiling faces. All the employees was happy and very helpful. My food was hot. The restaurant was clean and I really really enjoyed eating there today. All the other restaurants and all the other towns everybody is so unhappy and so rude. The food is horrible and usually cold they always get it wrong, but your Popeyes in Ellijay all the people were so friendly and happy and they seem to enjoy their job. Thank you for employing great people. Please let them know they did a really good job today and I look forward to coming back to your store. We live in JASPER and we used to have a Popeyes for a very short time but it was nice to find a place that Makes you feel welcome. Your team is great thank you so much.

Everything about my experience was just mediocre. The food was just not great. The original chicken sandwich was good. Crispy, but very greasy. The shrimp basket was tiny and not much taste. The biscuits were fair, but again, small. The sweet tea was bitter.

Normally I would give this Popeyes a five-star rating but after yesterday’s meal I have took it down to three stars. Normally our food is very delicious and fresh and good. But our food seemed as if it had been sitting under a warmer for hours very dry biscuits were hard ended up giving us spicy chicken instead of original and almost forgot one of our boxes. Like I said normally I have no complaints with this store but yesterday we had done drove 8 hours coming home from work after working out of town all week and we just wanted something to eat and we always go to Popeye’s so you can only imagine how disappointed we were yesterday with our food.

Driving through and chose this Popeyes to stop for lunch. Best idea all day. They did not disappoint. From amazing service & great food to this locations very own signature “strawberry bisquit”. I should have gotten 2! I highly recommend this location.

Sun Aug 17 at 7:00 pm. This entire shift needs to be fired. 5 customers in store and 1 car in drive thru. 20 mins after I walked in, I got my food, but the folks who were there before me were still waiting when I finished eating. There is absolutely zero explanation for how this store is run. Sorry. Wasted my money and time. I will never pass through those doors again and will make sure my friends don’t waste their time either.

We was brought Popeyes to our office for lunch today and the sandwiches were good as always. The woman who had them catered for us had nothing but great things to say about Josh and his team. She stated Josh went above and beyond to assist her! Great job guys!!!!!
