I love the dumplings, rolls, rangoon ….
Large items and good portions, that beat the other place in town hands down.
The steak rangoon and crab rangoon just makes you want to keep eating them….
Update: I had also ordered the spicy shrimp.. It was great not too much or too little spice. Satisfying and the amount of rice was sufficient. ( the other place in town gave you the same amount of rice for 2 entrees. )
Don’t overlook this place if you like Chinese food and value.

Best seafood dumplings I have ever had! Nowhere else in Fort Madison can you 100 plus worth of dinner and wait no longer than 15 mins for takeout.. Go here all the time, and not once have I had an incorrect order or bad food. Thank you

Take-out only, and it will be best Chinese take-out in all of Fort Madison. They do have dine-in, last I checked, It’s just not a place built for it. They don’t have a single dish I wouldn’t recommend. Very delicious and full of flavor! They are also very expedient.

Honestly, I’ve been told not to order from here as the food wasn’t very good bit I’ve been craving some Chinese food for a while so I gave it a shot.
Ordered the General Tso chicken with fried rice. The chicken had a flavorful sauce but it had a horrible aftertaste like it had been fried in rancid old oil. The fried rice was mushy and looked like it had been sitting in a pan all day. Overall, I won’t be ordering from here again.

Good and greasy. Classic fast food Chinese for you. Orders have been wrong a couple of times. Love, love, love their fried crab rangoon though. Great price for a pack of six.

Best Chinese food in town. This restaurant is fast, friendly, and the food is delicious. Fresh & crunchy vegetables, tasty shrimp (I don’t know what they do but the shrimp are amazing) beef, pork, & chicken dishes are all very flavorful.

I can not say enough good things about Taste of China! They are absolutely my favorite Chinese food place in southeast Iowa! The owners are wonderful as well. Truly iconic Fort Madison and a must try when you’re in town!
