Stopped by the A&W on Federal Way in Boise for an after‑school snack with my grandchildren. They each ordered cheeseburgers, fries, and a drink, and they absolutely devoured everything—they loved it. I tried the fries myself and thought the flavor was great. Service was a little on the slow side, especially considering the place was mostly empty, but we still enjoyed our visit. A simple, relaxed stop that made the kids happy, which is always a win.

Went through drive thru, ended up waiting in the parking lot for 15 minutes because they said my chicken sandwich was frozen and would take 6 minutes to cook. Ended up having to go inside to pick my order up because no one came out. Little red headed long hair kid dumped my cold French fries upside down in the sack and crumbled all my napkins up. Ordered a regular chicken sandwich and got a a cold spicy chicken sandwich instead. This place blows!

Worst A and W on the planet. Fries were done cold. It took ten minutes in the drive thru. Burger was cold. Root Beer float was as others have posted: flat and only like ice crystals. The service was horrible, the food was awful. Never go there again!

Worst A&w I have ever been to, the service was crappy. And the best of all my hamburger sucked, and the bun was rock hard thanks for ruining my life. I only get 30 min of happiness each and every day and it was ruined. But thanks for the amazing ice cream cone.

Ordered a double cheeseburger with no pickles or ketchup. This is what I got. Tried to call 3 times but the phone was busy everytime. Yuck!!

I enjoy A&W now and again when I don’t have time for anything else. This one specifically was just awful. The fries were cold and nearly rock hard, the root beer was flat, and somehow even though the bottom bun of my burger was okay, the top bun was stale, dry, and hard. First and only negative experience I’ve had at an A&W.
