Honestly I’m originally from Chicago and with a lot of Mexican food trucks and an abundance of Mexican food restaurants this is one of the most authentic Mexican food places I have ever been to. Just go in and talk to the waitresses, waiters, bartenders or managers and they will all treat you like family. Hands down one of the best places I’ve been to since I’ve been in Indiana!!

Great new restaurant. They really took time to redo the space from the previous Mexican restaurant that was here. Definitely a Tex-Mex feel with a few personalized touches for Shelbyville.
Great launch too. This was day 2 from opening. Very well staffed. Food came out really fast and well prepared. I had the Chili Colorado and I’d say it’s probably my favorite version in Shelbyville at the moment. Really good flavor and spice. I’d call it a medium to medium hot spice level. Their rice was a little plain for my tastes, but it was prepared well. Refried Beans were good. I had corn tortillas with mine and they were hot and not falling apart.
The salsa is mild but flavorful.
I’ll definitely be back to try more of their menu items.

May be one of the best Mexican restaurants in the greater Indianapolis area. Their salsa roja is addictive. Their menu has something for everyone. My parents love it too, and they are hard to impress being from California.

Finally, we have an authentic Mexican restaurant in Shelbyville that serves multiple dishes that are authentic from Central and Southern Mexico. One of my favorite dishes is siete mares. It is a seafood soup with seven different seafoods in the soup. It is somewhat a little spicy, but I recommend eating it a little extra spicy.

The best birria tacos I’ve ever had! Excellent margaritas. Excellent wait staff. They really know how to party with the shots airplane and beer tower!!! Great for a date night, family night with the kids, or a larger group.

Placed a large order here for the office. They had everything ready with everyone’s names individually packaged. They hooked us up with salsa and chips for each bag. They were awesome! And the food is so good and hot. Plus, they’re all friendly and nice. They even helped carry it to my car.
