We stopped by Belotti Bottega to look at their fresh pastas and authentic italian offerings. To our delight, we discovered they also prepare warm meals on-site, so we decided to stay and enjoy the experience. We ordered a couple of pasta dishes along with drinks and settled into their outdoor seating on a cool yet sunny winter afternoon.
The service was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food? Absolutely authentic and rich in flavor. We tried the Agnolotti di Lidia and Casoncelli Bergamaschi, and both were outstanding. The pork shoulder and prosciutto in the Casoncelli were especially delicious, while the beef shank-stuffed pasta of the Agnolotti di Lidia left us with clean plates all around.
Belotti Bottega is a gem for anyone craving genuine Italian flavors paired with warm hospitality. Highly recommended for a cozy yet elevated dining experience.

The food is amazing here; some of the best pasta I’ve had. It’s a small spot, and if you can snag a spot in the corner seating area the experience is very cozy (and you can see them making the stuffed pasta!). Highly recommend!

1/23/26 incredible selection of authentic fresh handmade pastas made in house with inspiration from all over Italy . I had the Plin from Piedmonte, a beef stuffed mini ravioli that was some of the best pasta I have had in the bay . My wife had a vegetarian stuffed pasta that was delightful. We also had a tiramisu and half bottle of Chianti – all for $70 – incredible value ! This is a small shop where you can get pasta to go. Plus it has small dining counters and a few outside tables. We plan to visit the flagship restaurant next .

A great selection of excellent pastas for both cooking at home or consuming fully prepared dishes done in their kitchen in less than 15 minutes. It’s best if you can drop in personally, although delivery apps are popular for here as well. The space is welcoming and you can watch various pasta being made for added fun. My only minor gripe is the lasagna is often a little salty and overdone on the top – we still eat it with gusto though. A great thing to have in the neighborhood.

Super tasty pasta options, brought it to work and told a customer about the place. Turns out their daughter goes all the time. Definitely plan to revisit!

I absolutely loved the food at Belotti. I haven’t been back in many years, but I’m going to have to make a monthly trip back after this meal. We went for an anniversary dinner and ordered 2 sides (Brussels sprouts and broccoli), bruschetta, and 2 pastas (pappardelle and ravioli). The Brussels missed the spot, but the pasta and other sides more than made up for it. I could not stop eating the broccoli.
Despite our outdoor seating, heat lamps kept us warm and the staff was kind enough to check in often, with refills and propane checks. Can’t wait to come back for more.

Great place. Loved the dishes they served, loved the sauces, loved the flavors, the wines, and on and on. Sure I could share a few food photos, but given the selection of the dishes combined with the depth and complexity of the flavors would do this best Italian eatery in the Bay Area any sort of justice. You’ll be amazed! Check it out!

Make way for “serious pasta eaters” as my hubby correctly put it 😉
This pasta shop is super small and cute with eat in and take out options! There’s a variety of different house-made pastas you can order to go (or get it delivered) along with their house-made sauces too 🙂
Great place for solo eaters or couples as seating is limited – no good for large groups. No sit down tables but more of wall mounted shelves with high chairs kinda scene accommodating a total of 10 people.
You order at the counter and prepay for the meal which comes very quickly. Between the two of us we shared:
– Lasagne Bolognese $16.75
– Tagliatelle Wild Boar Sugo $16.75
– Tiramisu $5
Both lasagne and tagliatelle dishes were amazing. Honestly, best pasta quality we’ve had so far in the Bay Area. Prices are bit high for Oakland but they do match the quality of the food. Sauces were like the homemade ones – light but tasty and flavorful. You could taste the meat and the intoxicating smell of the freshly grated grana padano or pecorino. We were in pasta heaven! Tiramisu was alright, have had better.
I look forward to visiting their restaurant as well 🙂 Highly recommend!

This place is incredible. The pastas are delicious but what really stole the show for me was the panna cotta. Absolutely divine.

During COVID19 lockdowns, we’re obviously forced into take out food. This was $50 not well spent. A small cup of tortellini for $20, Agnolotti for $16.25, $5 Tiramisu (which was about 4 tablespoons worth). I’m not a huge eater and my wife and I were still starving at the end. Obviously, portion size isnt everything, but I really dont see where the hype comes from; taste didnt make up for small size. My pics are of the food unpacked from styrofoam containers…it wouldnt even be fair to show how sad this food looked there…
