If I can give this place a 0 I would it’s disgusting… I just spent 50 dollars on a small oxtail also a small rice cabbage with gravy with no meat and the rice taste like straight lemon oxtails don’t have any flavor I could’ve made it better at home. Customer service was ok other than her putting food in my plate I didn’t ask for but this place needs to close I know so many good Caribbean food places I just thought I would give them a chance never again. Disgrace to the real baddmonnn

I often order breakfast, especially saltfish or ackee and saltfish, through Uber Eats or DoorDash, and the food is always consistently good. It is well seasoned, never too oily, and they are very accommodating with requests. I have also tried their curry chicken and stew chicken, and everything has been delicious every time. I am in the food business myself, so I truly understand how important reviews are. This is an honest review based on my personal experience, and I highly recommend this business.

This place is ridiculous every single employee has an attitude no one ever talks politely or acts like they wanna be there. It’s a shame you’re patronizing a business but they are really nasty. And their food is not on point any more chance after chance is a disappointment.but in done.
We need a true Authentic Jamaican restaurant. And not these ppl just putting food together. Food made with heart and soul

I am a DoorDash driver. The employees at this restaurant are extremely disrespectful. They are not polite or courteous. Their customers never give tips, and the staff sometimes file complaints against DoorDash drivers for no reason. I cancel every order from this restaurant as soon as I receive it.

Although I’ve patronized this place a few times in the past, most times the food has ranged from not so good, to good. But, let me tell you about my most recent visit! My staff and I, craved “Roti”. And, since one of our clients suggested a particular shop near “Caribean spot”, I attempted to FIND it. However, I settled upon Caribean Spot, because I was unable to find the place we were initially looking for! My friend and i, go in.. Woman took our order. 4 Chicken Roti. She proceeds to take out the 4 pita breads, place on counter and fill with several pieces of chicken . She then begins to wrap them up. So I ask. ..please put potato and Chana (chick peas). “We don’t have potatoes nor chana).” Now. ..we can see that she’s showing signs of agitation) My friend (upon learning they don’t have core ingredients), decides he doesn’t want a Roti (and I don’t blame him). The ONLY reason I didn’t change my mind…. I didn’t want things to escalate into a confrontation! But I’ve NEVER heard of Amy place selling Roti, and that Roti consisting SOLEY of meat wrapped in pita bread. Moving forward I decided to add rice to the Roti to substitute for the potatoes. “Rice is extra”! She snaps (she’s clearly more upset now)! Long story longer….We get back to the Barbershop. First of all…. the chicken tasted good. But I can’t consider this a Roti. And, I’ve had DOZENS. I used to live in Richmond Hill, aka Baby Guyana, Trinidad, and Pakistan. There’s no better place to buy (among other caribean food), ROTI! Shoutout to “Mr Singhs Roti Shop”!!! My point I’ve had some amazing Roti’s!!! And, THIS WASNT CLOSE! It was horrible! I ate maybe 3 or 4 bites. The wrap itself must’ve been old, because the crushed chicken peas (or chana), between the bread was actually DRY!!!! I’ve never had a more horrible tasting Roti. After spending almost $50 on horrible food, it’s safe to deduce, I will not be patronizing THIS store again! And the RUDE TREATMENT from the server pretty much SEALED the deal! Oh….. before I forget….While the woman was ringing up my food, an older woman came in, approached the counter, next to me and began asking the woman who did her hair? Can you do my hair? Etc etc, on and on… These two women had a WHOLE CONVERSATION ABOUT HAIR, while she’s ringing up my food. Not once did either of them say “excuse me”, or MORE APPROPRIATELY…..”Excuse me….please let me finish with this customer”. Just RUDE! I’m praying she didn’t make a mjstake!!! $57 seems excessive for 3 roti, and an order of Curry chicken, with rice & peas! Imo. They won’t have to worry about seeing my face again! I work too hard for my money to GIVE it away for BAD food, with the MATCHING BAD ATTITUDE…Oh… and, BAD HAIRDO TO MATCH!!!!! Smh!

Moving from Brooklyn—with tons of food options—to Suffolk Long Island, where Caribbean food spots are few and far between, I was happy to find Caribbean Spot 112. It quickly became my go-to.

My favorite dishes are the Rasta pasta with oxtails, rice and peas with oxtails, and rice and peas with curry goat. Recently, I had the chance to try their sweet chili chicken wings—so good! The food is consistently flavorful and satisfying.

I’m giving 4 stars mainly because of the service.
Please be aware of the oil sitting on top of the gravy, I wouldn’t have to remind the server not to add it on top of my food while I ask for gravy. While the food is great, the customer service could be more welcoming and attentive. A warm smile or friendly energy goes a long way, especially when the food is already carrying the experience.
Shout out to Ann the manager who remembers me with my boys and even without them lol

Everything from the rice and peas to the jerk chicken was so incredibly bland that I feel like I’m being generous even giving them a 3 rating. Not to mention that they’re planning to INCREASE their prices soon when the food you get is already not worth what you pay

If you travel into queens a lot go to spring gardens in springfield or the door on baisley near rochdale village for good jamaican food. Avoid OB’s which is actually in rochdale village mall. Used to be good when I was younger but I haven’t been hearing good things about it recently so won’t recommend it

My husband and I attempted to order through Uber eats. My husband receives a phone call saying they have no more jerk chicken left and he needs to cancel his order on his end… (should have read reviews before this.. lesson learned) He proceeds to cancel only to get charged $60 from the restaurant because HE CANCELLED THE ORDER! Clearly they tried to “get away” with it considering in past reviews they did indeed cancel orders. He tried to call back and they are no longer answering his phone calls, so I decided to use my phone… surprise surprise they pick up. I proceeded to tell them the issue and the guy Ainsley I spoke with tells me if this is an issue with (husband’s names) order I told him he needs to call Uber. I explain he did and because YOU accepted the order already for food you didn’t have and told him to cancel it he got charged and you now have our money and we have nothing in return. He has no rebuttal so I ask how can you accept the order when you don’t have the food? No response. I ask to speak to the owner/manager (Ann).. they aren’t in… I ask to speak with the individual who accepted the order … SHOCKER … they “just” left… their response was to come in the following day to speak with the manager… this place is wild will never order here again to be lied to and apparently for shotty food.
