This place is definitely a hidden gem! I absolutely love their smoked oxtails! . They are cooked to perfection, literally falling off of the bone. The dirty rice was a pleasant surprise. It looks so unassuming but packs a mouthful of flavor. The beans were sweet and smoky. A perfect complement to the oxtails. Definitely worth the trip!

Last weekend, my uncle came to visit and went out looking for some good BBQ. After reading through a bunch of detailed, highly rated reviews, he decided to stop by Boutte’s BBQ—and we’re all glad he did.
He brought the food back to my house and the smell alone had the whole place ready to eat. He picked up smoked oxtails, brisket, beef sausage, and ribs. Everything was flavorful and tender, but the ribs were the real standout—smoky, juicy, and packed with that deep BBQ flavor that’s hard to find.
We were all impressed, but we also believe great BBQ has to be consistent.
So today, I went back myself to see if it held up—and it more than did. I ordered the 4-meat plate with chicken, brisket, ribs, and pork sausage, along with two sides. The aroma coming from the plate on the way home had me ready to pull over and dive in.
When I finally sat down to eat, I was honestly blown away. Somehow, everything tasted even better than the first time. The meats were cooked perfectly, seasoned just right, and full of rich, smoky flavor. I couldn’t believe it—how did they top the first round?!
Boutte’s BBQ is the real deal. They’ve earned a loyal customer, and I’ve already started telling friends and family. If they keep up this quality and consistency, it’s only a matter of time before this place gets the recognition it truly deserves. Keep doing what you’re doing!

If you’re looking for amazing BBQ, this place is an absolute must-try. Everything was cooked to perfection — tender, flavorful, and juicy. The brisket practically melted in my mouth, and the ribs had that perfect smoky flavor with just the right amount of sauce.
The service was outstanding too. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without feeling rushed. You can tell they really care about their customers and the quality of their food.

I love bbq and I travel in state and try everything this bbq has a pundit smell and taste I attributed to possibly cooking with mesquite but it’s ok I didn’t like everything is done out of view

The smoked oxtails at Boutte’s BBQ are legendary. The meat is tender, deeply flavorful, and falls right off the bone. Paired with their tangy BBQ sauce, it’s a dish that keeps you coming back for more. Definitely a standout on their menu! And those sides are the perfect complement to the rich, smoky flavor of the oxtails. The spicy beans add a nice kick, while the potato salad brings a creamy balance. I have been coming here since the early days, and it’s disappointing how much it’s changed. The food once had real flavor and care now it feels rushed and business driven. The quality has declined and it’s no longer worth the price.

Decided to try this BBQ since I heard great things about it. Unfortunately, the only complaint I have is the BBQ had an after taste like lighter fluid or something and I’m not a fan of sugar in my potato salad. I got a 3 meat plate and a pound of oxtails. Maybe that was a bad day, not sure, but my experience with BBQ, you are not supposed to have that kind of after taste.

Went for the first time, unfortunately we went a bit late so they were running low on options. The only option available were ox tails, which I never had before. They immediately offered us a sample, and they were really good so we ordered an order. They were very attentive to us, and went above and beyond for us. They were very friendly and accommodating to us. I would come again when I’m in town and highly recommend this business. Thank you again for being kind to us.

Food truck set up . All orders to go. Drove 40 minutes to give them a try. We were not disappointed. This place has some of the best if not the best bbq I have ever had in my short 60 years on this earth. Can’t speak on all menu items, just what we ordered. Ordered sliced brisket sandwich, pork ribs and sausage plate with potato salad and dirty rice. The sandwich was plentiful and everything was extremely flavorful. I highly recommend and will definitely make the drive out there again. I would strongly recommend.
