This was our first time trying both hot pot and Korean BBQ, and it was such a great experience! The food was delicious, the variety was impressive, and everything felt worth the price.
What really made the day special was our server, Vivian. She was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. Since we were new, she took the time to explain how everything works, gave helpful cooking-time tips, and checked in often to make sure we were doing things right and enjoying our meal. She never rushed us and always had a warm, friendly.
Our table was kept clean, drinks were refilled quickly, and we felt genuinely taken care of. Customer service like this is rare and truly appreciated.
Highly recommend this place especially if you’re new to hot pot or Korean BBQ. Ask for Vivian if you can, she’s amazing!

Preface: I max out with Verde salsa, my husband regularly eats last dabs with dinners.

I got the hot and sour pot, which was too spicy for me. My husband got the spicy beef pot and loved it.
They offer several noodle varieties for your pots, a few veggie, a few beef/pork/chicken, and lots of seafood. More then half of the buffet is various seafood.
They had about 8 marinated meat options for the grill.
There is a wide variety of dipping sauces and seasonings.
There were a few precooked appetizer type options such as rice, egg rolls, and potstickers.
They offer one icecream cup per person, either vanilla or strawberry.

Staff was friendly but assumed you knew how to eat the hotpot or grill food so you will have to ask if you need help.

Overall would highly recommend if you like spice and seafood.

Cost was $45 per adult, there is a $10 fee for food waste, and they have a 90 minute dining policy in case they get too busy. We were there for just over 90 minutes and they did not try to kick us out, but they were not busy either.

Hotpot Palace is my first experience at a hot pot restaurant and it was GREAT! The waitress/server who helped us was amazing. We let our her know that we were new to hot pot and she was so helpful! She checked in regularly to give us suggestions on cook time and delicious combos! Our plates were cleared and our drinks kept full. It was truly some of the best service I’ve experienced at a restaurant in a long time.

We spent $45 a person which covered all our food AND foundation drinks AND ice cream!

I really wanted to like this, Ive had hotpot before and loved it. The flavor was just off, there were sighs at the buffet of what the items were and they were all jumbled together so you couldnt figure out what a lot of stuff was what, there is a lot of cross contamination for those who have selfish allergies. We tried so many different things and ultimately didnt eat much.

This place was so fun and had really good food! The atmosphere was super fun and very very busy. The Staff was awesome. We had never done hot pot before, but had done BBQ so the staff was very kind and walked us through the process. They gave us great recommendations for broth, sauce combos, their favorite meats, ect. They were very knowledgeable. The variety of food was extensive. There is literally something for everyone. The quality of the food was really good and the flavors for the broths were awesome! I really loved the sauce bar. You can create your own sauce to compliment what you are eating and they give you recipes if you want to use that. We tried a little bit of everything. The only thing we were not super in love with was the shrimp, lobster, and crab balls. The texture just wasn’t for us, but all the different meats and seafood were wonderful. Very fresh and meticulously kept and tracked (food safety wise). $40 for all you can eat. They do have a 90 minute limit, but for most people I feel like 90 minutes is more than enough time to fill yourself up. We will definitely be returning to try more!

It was a unique experience. You pick all the food you want from the raw cold cases. Then you have 2 hot pots with different flavors and your grill at your table. You cook everything yourself. It was kind of hard to know when things were done in the hot pots. Food was good and experience was fun. There’s no way we ate $45 a person. Everyone needs to try it at least once.

Got here at opening on a weekday and we were alone until 30 mins in when a couple other people showed up.

Large seating area. Booths and tables.

All you can eat style with a 90minute limit.
$40 weekdays, $45 weekends for reg adult which is a great price.
$10 up charge for excess waste, though I supposed this is subjective on the waiter? Unsure how they measure this.

All ingredients looked very fresh.
We didn’t see wait staff very often.
Could have used a refill and didn’t get it.

There’s an area where you can build your own sauce,
I would have preferred some premade sauces.
We did the mushroom and health flower broth (basically a flavorful chicken broth)
Both were very good.

Drove from Vancouver to try it out, and quickly was disappointed. Lady wearing a mask was clearly bullying all the service staff and definitely hated her job. The table next to ours was a young couple asked for recommendations as it was their first time and the lady with the mask sighed and said “i don’t know just order”. Multiple table looked at each other like what just happened? Younger lady and lady with short hair was the only ones smiling and helping.

Food was alright, clean and plenty of parking, but was it worth $45? Not at all, especially not for the service and attitude.

We were excited to try this place out as it’s a new spot in the neighborhood. We were lucky to get in without a wait. The place has a nice and trendy ambiance to it. The selection of food was plenty, which was good for an all you can eat place. The concept of both hot pot and bbq at the same time is near and has been around for awhile, but I was happy to see it here. The quality of the items were ok, with the meat for grilling were a bit too tough and the beef ribs being a bit salty for me. Im not sure if it was an off day, but the flavored broths – tom yum and golden broth tasted very off for everyone at the table. It was very overwhelming for all of us. We were able to get them to change it to the original broth, which was better. I did like that there was a sauce station for you to mix your own dipping sauce. I would give it some more time before I come back here to try it again.

Great experience! I came here with a few friends and enjoyed the hotpot and BBQ option. The broths were flavorful and the ingredients were all really fresh. You can tell they take care in prepping everything — and the dipping sauces were fantastic.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially since it was our first time here. The vibe is cozy — perfect for a casual dinner or a night out with friends. Highly recommend!
