This location has been in decline for a while, unfortunately. The staff routinely gets orders incorrect and they are unprofessional in their communication and dress. We’ve been burned for the last time by this location and will never be back. I called to explain we received incorrect sandwiches and they gave no apology and were unwilling to issue a refund. They offered to credit my JJ account but couldn’t figure out how. I suggest you find a different location.

Used a whole cup of mayonnaise on both wraps my husband and I ordered. So much mayo that is all you taste. Person who took our order and made our wraps was very anti social, didn’t say anything, looked like she didn’t want to be there. Go elsewhere!

Upon opening our sandwiches at home, we noticed that they were lacking in the extras that we had requested. For example: four pieces of peppers were on one sandwich. We called the store to inform them and were told to come back to the store. I stated that I had already been there once and wasn’t going to come back and asked for our sides to be delivered. Management offered to deliver the sides, however stated that the driver was on delivery. Understandably so, why would I wait an unknown amount of time to receive sides when likely the sandwiches would be eaten? As I continued speaking to the manager at the store, I noted that the amount of pickles, tomatoes, and cucumbers were scant as well. Upon this realization I asked that new sandwiches be made and our $30 order be done correctly. The manager proceeded by saying that I would need to send an email with my complaint. I replied with saying “Absolutely not. This order was prepared incorrectly and it needs to be rectified immediately.” Management then proceeded to call the store owner. Meanwhile, my husband went ahead and ate his sandwich as he was hungry. After about five minutes of being on hold, Janine called. I began explaining the situation to her and was quickly told that I was belligerent to the manager in the store. Not only was I talked over, I was also threatened to be blacklisted from the store “because I wasn’t happy and this wasn’t going anywhere.” We paid $30 for two giant sandwiches and expected to receive what we ordered. Janine stated that everything was on camera and after asking how many peppers were put onto the sandwiches, refused to answer the question. Paper thin cucumbers, tomatoes, and four pieces of pepper is absolutely sad and pathetic. It is also beyond unprofessional for the owner of a well-known franchise to speak to a customer in the way that I was spoken to. Being told that we need to bring in the sandwiches not eaten is not only wrong, but also a food safety issue. Also, we weren’t asking for protein, we were asking for the free ingredients as options to add to our sandwiches. After 45 minutes of argument with Janine and a picture of my sandwich (with the four pieces of pepper on it) she agreed to send two cards for free sandwiches. These are giant sandwiches, not regulars or little john’s and should come with adequate sides if requested. In no way was I belligerent to anyone until speaking with Janine. Customer service is a definite weak point from ownership here and truly keeping business is not something she wishes for either. Not only will my experience be shared here, but it will be shared elsewhere for others to be aware of. Please see the attached photograph as justification for my complaint. My husband’s sandwich was no different.

Very inconsistent service. Often the additional notes are not followed – I’m not talking about asking for weird/strange requests. For example, bring extra may packets. More often than not it is disregarded. Today, I got a pasta salad that was marked as 3 days past it’s use by date which prompted me to write this message. I spent $19.55 to have one sandwich and one pasta salad delivered not more than 5 miles away… and the pasta salad is going straight to the trash can.

I used Jimmy John’s in Wauconda for a corporate lunch today, and they were fantastic! The ordering process was easy and efficient, and they had the food promptly ready right on time. The staff even went the extra mile to help me load everything into my vehicle. The variety of sandwiches, wraps, sides, chips, and desserts were a hit with my coworkers, and everyone enjoyed their meals. The service was top-notch, and we would definitely use them again in the future. Highly recommend for any corporate catering needs!

I’m seeing this more and more, and it’s shameful… Prices going up and quality being reduced. You can’t raise prices AND reduce quality at the same time! There were 2 whole slices of turkey on my $10 sub.

Reviews almost made me spend my money somewhere else, but I decided to think positive on it and I decided to make a order online and walk in as they made it and this was as they first opened up at 10:00am and I ordered a Veggie Unwich ( meaning no bread it is wrapped with lettuce instead of bread) and had it customized like with No cheese, No Mayo,extra avocado spread , extra onions , extra lettuce and extra etc the list goes on and I paid and walked out and ate my veggie unwich and it was made and wrapped very well and it tasted amazing no cap , the guy who made it I should of got his name for a shout out but he took his time and made it with love and care and I’m satisfied how my order came out Today…maybe it could be other workers that did not care with other orders prior for the not so good reviews is why the Google review is iffy but my order was exactly everything I asked for and so today I give it 5 stars ⭐️. Keep this up and keep hiring the right people because people don’t play about their food.

I went there to pick up dinner during working hours (3pm-11pm). I wanted to try the kickin ranch potato chips, but at $2 for a bag of chips, that’s insane. So I got a combo instead. Might as well get a pop too, since I’m paying that much. Well, I get back to work and instead of kickin ranch chips, I get a container of kickin ranch sauce. I can’t leave work to go back and ask for my chips, so I just fill out the online survey that asks how things went. I filled it out and mentioned what happened with my chips. That was January 6th, 2025. Here it is, now January 18th and I never heard back. I used to go to this Jimmy John’s all the time. I see customer service doesn’t mean anything. They just permanently lost a customer. I’m all about customer service and if a company doesn’t do right by me, I NEVER go back. Looks like Jersey Mike’s in Lakemoor will be my new, go-to for sandwiches. Oh well.
