I love this place. My service was great.The girl answered the phone in Spanish but as soon as she realized, I didn’t speak Spanish, she spoke to me in English, which I appreciate and they always give amazing service. There is two locations in their family owned and both locations have great customer service.

Went here as they were closing, good food that was served quickly. Returned the next day for the weekend carnitas. Everything we had was delicious. There was a lunch rush of local workers which makes this a great and authentico place to grab a bite but the wait wasn’t too long.
All the tacos were good. Asada, carnitas, pastor and chorizo. Had the carne Mulitas and the quesa birria. The quesa birria were big. Two would be a good meal. Good selection of drinks in the convenience store

I had the Cali burrito with Carne Asada. It was fresh and delicious. The meat had a good flavor to it. I will go back when ever I’m in that area.

Elvira’s is tucked away in a convenience store and liquor store so the atmosphere is what you’d expect. The carnitas burrito was the perfect first meal to step back into the world of SoCal Mexican food. Loved it

Inside the Fiesta Market at vista chino and gene Autry is Elvira’s Taqueria.
The food is really great. Menu offers an extensive list of options to choose from. My favorites are the Camarones Burrito and chicken quesadilla.
Both are generous portions and exceptional taste.
Seats are limited, but the wait is less tan 10 minutes normally for a seat.
