This is a locals dive bar and seems to have a good following. The drinks are good, but beware if you bring up your glasses for a second round that they will not be dumped out or rinsed, just reused. The bathroom stinks like urine really badly.

Very cozy dive bar, my favorite kind of place. Great old school rock on the stereo, drinks made just right, lighting not too bright not too dim, surprisingly comfy booths, interesting old timey photography on the walls. Overall great vibe for small bar.
I didn’t try any food or even see what there was to eat but I’m sure it’s good.

This little hidden gem was a great watering hole! Bartender was on point and dialed in… Great cocktails and brews. We did not eat the food so I cannot comment about it. But this place is tons of fun. I highly recommend it if you are in the Astoria area!

I get it I walked in at 10:30 in the evening. I was looking for a place to socialize. When I walk through the door the first person I saw was a drunk guy that couldn’t even say hi without slurring. I stood by the bar for a good minute and not one person other than the slurring drunk guy walked over and said I will be with you in a minute. I understand when you’re busy but when somebody walks in customer service should be thank you for coming in please give me a moment or I’ll be with you soon some sort of a welcome. There was nothing from this place so I walked out. I may have had a bad experience but that’s all I can go by.

Parker is an amazing bartender, his suggestions and knowledge of the surrounding area made our stay in Astoria one to remember. Kudos to Parker!

The truckload of negative reviews ain’t lying – this place is a cesspool of negativity, unless you’re a local maybe?
The bartender was a middle-aged white lady who intentionally avoided me for 20 mins while I tried to place an order, while she made small talk with the locals.
The crowd here is the epitome of degeneracy – elderly folks binge drinking, youngsters addicted to the gambling machines, belligerently drunk middle aged men trying to get teenage girls drunk and pick them up, the bartender assisting them, it was all on display.
I’ve traveled all across rural small town USA and several dive bars, and enjoyed every single one of them – this has to be the worst.
I don’t know – all the locals with a drinking problem seem to love it – is that a reflection on the locals or the bar?
I don’t know, but don’t bother finding out.

Yes, it’s a dive bar, with salty locals and a very friendly bartender. The pours were decent and the cost is low, during happy hour. Gambling and South Park. Still all good, if you want to see the real locals you come here, just remember, they live here, it’s Thier home, regardless of how they talk or dress

Small, kicked back, and quiet bar. Good vibe every time I’ve been there.

Just the smell of the food and the atmosphere worth 5 stars. sea lions’ calls make the environment cozy and romantic. Definitely a keeper for an interesting first date.
