Not the same as the one on west colfax. I ordered a smothered deluxe to go with chili on the side. The chili they gave me was laughable. Food was good but come on…that ain’t smothering nothing!

Quiet place for lunch. Ok, so the chips and salsa are bomb!!! They use real corn tortillas. Ughhh the best kinda chip!!
I got the carne asada chili cheese fries. Steak was fantastic, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The fries weren’t all soggy from the cheese and chili, which people are always afraid of! It was proportioned well for each bite.
Becky greeted me the moment I walked in and had such good service throughout.
Will definitely be coming back as I now work just a few blocks away.

The food has been really good each time we have eaten at chili shack…they also added everything my husband asked for his chili cheese fries…even the fried egg…the chicken street tacos are delicious and I always add a cup of consome to dip them in ☺️

The food was good, but the customer service was very poor.
I placed an online pickup order at 1:51 PM with a scheduled pickup time of 2:00–2:10 PM and arrived at 2:07 PM. My sibling’s order was ready, but mine was not. After waiting, I was told my order had been given to a DoorDash driver by mistake, which caused a long delay.
What made this worse was the lack of urgency and accountability at the register. The employee responsible did not proactively address the issue or communicate clearly. I ended up waiting about 40 minutes for food that should have already been prepared.
To top it off, I didn’t receive a “ready for pickup” text until 3:08 PM, well over an hour after ordering.
One staff member eventually handled the situation more professionally, which I appreciate, but overall the experience showed poor organization and customer service. Good food doesn’t make up for that.

This place is so good! The steak plate is amazing, the portion is huge, and the price is super reasonable. Alejandra at the register is also really friendly and polite. The only thing I’d change is the lighting inside, because everything else is excellent.

Placed in order online said the order would be ready the in 5 minutes.We were there to pick it up… Although there was 2 orders to pick up the first order. Was ready the second one?It was not… We waited about 3-5 minutes… DoorDash comes in to pick up an order. And one of the employees gave the door dash order to that driver, which was our order. We were waiting for…. We get the alert on the phone.Telling us that the order was ready.Go to the counter to pick it up.And the guy says, we gave the order to the door dash man…Wow???? So we had to wait another ten minutes for her to remake it The order again… They once that order was ready, she comes and gives it to us and two more.Items were missing out of the order??? Then, she apologized again and said, give me another 5 minutes??? By this time I just don’t know what else to say??? For an online order that should have been ready in five minutes.. Turned out to be a waiting process over 45 minutes No compensation the waiting process was terrible when this order was should have been ready on an online order…. That’s two thumbs down for me because of the waiting process.It was terrible…. Are orders? Should have never been given to a DoorDash person to pick up another order when somebody should have checked the order to make sure that it was the right order. That’s what I call no customer service….

I recently visited Mexican Chilli Shack with my friend Kubi and had a mixed experience. Welcoming with chips and salsa was really good gesture and I liked it. We ordered tacos, chili cheese fries, and a quesadilla with birrea. The tacos were fantastic—packed with flavor,vegetables and very satisfying. The chili cheese fries were a tasty addition, but the quesadilla fell a bit short. It was overly cheesy, and I’ve had better from other Mexican restaurants, so there’s definitely room for improvement.
However, I really enjoyed the guacamole and hot sauces, which were both fresh and flavorful. The complimentary chips and salsa were a nice touch too. Overall, a good experience, but the quesadillas could use some refinement.
