I came out for the grand opening of Bento Soul, and everything was from start to finish. The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor — true comfort soul food done right.
I had the fried fish and fried chicken with mac & cheese and greens, plus a cornbread muffin, and every single item hit. The fish was perfectly seasoned and crispy, the mac & cheese was rich and creamy, and the greens were seasoned just right — not bland at all. You can really tell this food is made with care.
The portions are generous, the presentation is clean, and the staff was super welcoming, especially for opening day. If you’re looking for authentic soul food with a modern, convenient setup, this spot is a must-try. I’ll definitely be back.

We ordered the fish, chicken, collards, beans, mac and cheese, and of course, the egg rolls. Everything was hot and delicious. The portions were generous — easily enough for two meals — and the service was excellent.
The setup felt like a mall food court without the mall, which actually worked out well. Some of our family took advantage of the other dining options, making it a great spot if you’re craving soul food while others want something different.
The dining area and bathrooms were also very clean.

I seen this place on tiktok and seen they had soul food eggrolls. They was so good! In fact everything we had was delicious. Chicken, yams, collards, kool-aid and the yam hot sauce!!! 10/10 will be back! Don’t sleep on this place!
