I love supporting local businesses before fast food chains and tonight we decided to try Rubys for their fish. We got there and the girl was nice, but not very helpful. I asked what batter they used and she didn’t know and left it at that. I also asked for tarter sauce and vinegar. We waited about 15 min which is not long at all! We got the food and she asked if we needed ketchup, we said yes and asked if there was tarter sauce and vinegar in the bag and she says no vinegar, then puts some condiments in the bag.. which I didn’t notice was only ketchup. I get to the car to check and realize there’s no vinegar so I go in and ask and she says they don’t have any. Okay no big deal. Now, this is what my food looks like. I ordered 3 piece tender and 3 piece fish with fries. This is what I got.. we spent $30 and I’m really upset. I loved the atmosphere and the mood, but cmon the cook should know not to hand out a piece of fish the size of a fry and I also was missing a chicken tender.

The food was ok. I ordered the jalapeño burger and wings. They brought out a a different burger with onion rings. The waitress did offer to fix it. I’m the type of person that doesn’t send my food back. The prices were good. They atmosphere was cozy. I won’t go back.

Food’s always fresh, service is top-notch, and the people are genuinely great. Love the retro vibe — gives the place real character. My only gripe is they sometimes run out of the blue Kool-Aid, but everything else is perfect. 10/10, highly recommend supporting them!

I didn’t really know this place existed until i went to a store nearby. The staff was so friendly and approachable and eager to help you with suggestions if asked. I got wings, and some onion rings my first visit. The wings were juicy, and sauces were on point. The onion rings were also great.
The second visit got the fish plate with onion rings, of course. It was delicious.

The Meat & 3 specials at Ruby’s is FIRE!!! I thought I had already found my favorite meal, but Tika is full of surprises! Over 20 flavor options for Wings! The hamburger steak & turnip greens w/mashed potatoes and fried cornbread was EASILY one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life! That woman can cook! Best meat & 3 in town, by far! The Raspberry Lemonade was phenomenal too!

Costumer service was great! The little lady who waited on us was so sweet and kind! I’m betting myself up for not asking her her name! The food was soo good and there was so much I couldn’t finish it! I AM going to be a repeat Costumer for sure! I recommend anyone who likes wings stop in and have a try! It’s so wroth the wait!

My father in law took me here this past Tuesday afternoon, and the food was amazing. I had the fish and cheeseburger meal (it was only 15$ for a big cheeseburger and four pieces of fish with fries) and it was the best food I probably have ever ate. The workers were the sweetest people ever. Definitely would recommend, & will be eating here again

Best Food around!! (Try the “Ruby Rub” on your chicken!). The fries here are my absolute favorite! And the burgers are to die for! The staff is always friendly & professional (& the “little helpers” are adorable!)
