Jodi, the bartender, didn’t even realize I was there for about half an hour. Was complaining the whole time. Then, when I was trying to be funny explaining what a Hairy Navel is, she snapped at me & said “Just tell what you want”….so i did…other customers were a little bit shocked. When she brought me my drink, i tried to order food but she ignored me. When a couple came in, she hurriedly got their drinks & asked if they wanted to order food. I had to almost scream that i wanted food also. She didn’t give me enough time to tell her i wanted 2 orders of onion rings to go..just ran off again. Complaining about having to go up & down the steps. So i get my order .. decided it was best to just eat it there. When I asked for an order to go, she got pissed off… complaining about the damn steps again. I even told her i tried to tell her before she ran off earlier, i wasn’t done ordering but shedidn’t give me the time. She was nice & friendly with all the other customers. Continuously made snide remarks basically towards me. I have been there many times since i moved to West Elizabeth in 2017 & am very disappointed, angry, feel disrespected, etc. Won’t be going there again unless i know she is NOT working. She’s lucky she got a tip at all ..

Jodi ( bartender, cook, waitress,cashier) was pleasant and energetic eager to work. Clean dive bar, pool table, decent burgers. There’s updated menus but prices are still great. I’ll be back to try the chili, I’ll bring some sriracha

One of the best chill places in West Elizabeth. The staff is beyond exceptional with Marley at the front of the pack. I thoroughly enjoy this place every time I’m here especially in slow nights. Marley makes the slower nights super fun and enjoyable. She is worth the stop all on her own. I’ll always stop back when I’m in the area. Couldn’t recommend any higher!

Poor attitude from the bartender. Service was lacking and we felt like we were almost bothering the bartender just to get a drink. She spent most of time sitting at the bar. Gave the place a few chances but.. The poor service probably explains why the same 4 people are there. I don’t give reviews ever so the service seriously has to be piss poor for me to say something.
Corrective action= Management has to explain that service is everything especially in a bar that doesn’t specialize in food. This place could be better if they hired people that well…care.
