My wife has been swearing for the last couple of years that they make the best bacon blue cheese burger in the northland. I’ve been trying to make it out during kitchen hours to try one and finally made it.
About the burger. Lots of burgers these days are half-pound behemoths loaded with another half-pound of toppings. Why do we somehow think 2-3x a normal size serving is what we need in this country these days?
Burger is reasonably sized, beef has a big flavor and was nicely seasoned. Bacon was crispy, blue cheese plentiful and nicely melted. Bun was lightly toasted.
Wife is right! Go see Bob and tell him you want a blue cheese burger. If you’re in the mood, start with a Bloody Mary while you’re waiting.
Great little place that you have to go looking for if you’re in an on-road vehicle. Pretty easy to find if you follow the signs while riding the local trails.

This place has new owners, and they still in the process of setting everything up. Came here with friends for a late lunch. We all had different burgers. onion rings and french fries. Definitely come here again, when everything is set up.

Great ATV/snowmobile stop during each season. The bar food is great and the service beats that. I love the atmosphere sitting around with other outdoors enthusiasts drinking and talking. Another stop on a snowmobile this winter and again this bar is happening. Memorial weekend and just had some great conversations with fellow trail riders at the bar.

Stopped by for lunch while wheeling, great service and very friendly peeps – no complaints there. Only have an issue with the actual lunch. Burgers that had to have been made the day before, all 4 of our orders were out within 5 minutes. No taste, and dry…awful. fries were very tasty. We really would like to have given a better review, but those burgers…ugh.

This is a must stop for my friends and I when we make our annual snowmobile trip to Wisconsin. The staff is friendly the owner is awesome. Love that if we know we are going and call ahead with and ETA they’ve kept the doors open for us!! Never in the +6 years of going here have I or my friends been disappointed with the food, drinks or service.
