The food was incredibly tasty with a customizable spice level. I asked for extra spicy daal tadka which was exactly the spice level I was hoping for. They provide complimentary rice with every entree. I also got rasmalai for dessert which were delicious. The staff was very attentive and friendly, checking in to make sure we were comfortable and happy with the food. Overall a great restaurant and I strongly recommend!!

The service was very good and they kept on checking up on the table and were very attentive. They gave us complimentary papad and the 3 chutneys it came with were great. The paneer naan was good and fresh, the lamb Rogan Josh was a good quantity an I liked the flavors. The rasmalai wasn’t too sweet and it was also great for the first time trying. I would go here again and I especially want to try their buffet selection.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Minar Indian Restaurant in Morristown, New Jersey! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel like family. The team is incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. Since they’ve just started, you can really feel their passion and dedication — and they even offered complimentary food, which was such a thoughtful and generous gesture!
The food was outstanding. The chilli paneer was perfectly crispy and flavorful with just the right spice level. The daal tadka tasted authentic and comforting, just like homemade. The paneer naan was soft and stuffed beautifully, and the garlic naan and garlic bread were fresh, buttery, and absolutely delicious.
And the lassi — truly amazing! Thick, refreshing, and perfectly balanced. One of the best I’ve had in New Jersey.
The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it perfect for family dinners, gatherings with friends, or even a casual night out. Everything — the people, the food, the hospitality — deserves five stars.

Its a new restaurant! We were a bit hesitant to go in, seeing no other people dining in there. Just wanted to give it a try! At the end, it was a great choice! Nice food, nice ambience, great service! Tried both Veg and Non-Veg! Quality and good sized quantity as well! Definitely worth trying!

Ordered the Lamb Rogan Josh, Chicken Saag, and Yellow Dal for takeout from Minar, and it was fantastic. Everything was packed securely (no leaks!) and arrived hot. The lamb was incredibly tender, the saag was creamy, and the dal had that perfect home-cooked flavor. Great portions and fast service—definitely my new go-to for Indian night at home!
