Enjoyed a delightful evening here with the most delicious food! “Eclectic” describes the place perfectly! Such a great dining experience, we can’t wait to go back and try another dish. Everything sounds so good, it was hard to decide what to order. We had the crab cakes, lobster bisque, beef Wellington and pork chops. Everything was so delicious, would recommend everything we ordered! Make sure to have reservations.

This culinary gifted quaint little restaurant in Taylor Falls is worth the trip. Reservations are definitely required. They’re only open two days a week. The food is a gift to your mouth. The service is perfect and the atmosphere is quaint and warm.

We had such a great time at Tangled Up In Blue. Right from the start, the service made us feel so welcome, super friendly and personal, like we were regulars even though it was our first time.

The chef had some daily specials with little personal touches, which made choosing what to eat even more fun. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, and the portions were large, definitely a place where you leave full and happy.

The atmosphere was eclectic in the best way: warm, welcoming, and filled with character. You can tell a lot of thought went into making it a place where people feel at home. Even the bathroom impressed us, stocked with thoughtful touches like flossers, pads, and gum — a small detail that shows just how much care goes into every part of the guest experience here.

Food is outstanding. Nice comfortable relaxed dining area. Will go back. One concern about menu honesty. Was informed they didn’t serve local wine because of distribution, but 2 of the local wines that I know of are available via distribution. What else isn’t true? The reason for the 1+ hour wait was no call backs for a reservation. Been trying to get in for our anniversary for 3 years.

Make sure you make a reservation so you can enjoy a spectacular meal. We started with the lobster bisque and crab cakes. Ah-mazing! I had the beef wellington and the filet mignon was like cutting into butter. The flavor was amazing and the mushroom gravy was divine. My husband had the ribeye with blue cheese which he devoured. I definitely recommend this hidden gem and wish I had known about it sooner.

Finally went here to try the Beef Wellington and it DID NOT disappoint myself or my wife. Ordered some Risotto on the side and that was just as delicious! Matter of fact….. EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS.
We both had to almost be wheeled out, we were so stuffed!!! Reservations are definitely a good idea.

My husband and I come here each year for our anniversary !! We absolutely love the location and the atmosphere. The food literally melts in your mouth. This small family restaurant has better food than high-end restaurants we have been to in the twin cities. We definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for fabulous food and amazing service!!!

Beef Wellington was good wasn’t amazing by any means. I would suggest not using the 99 cent value bag baby carrots on the side with the beef wellington next time. Peel and cut a real carrot that has real flavor. Crocs and sweatpants are the attire from the servers. Those things become more noticeable when the food’s only okay.

Cannot stress enough how wonderful the food was!

My wife and I shared the crab cakes, each got lobster bisque, then shared the beef Wellington. Absolutely phenomenal.

I don’t know the chefs story, but I was floored with the flavors, textures, and little details in each of the items.

HIGHLY recommend.
