This location recently transitioned to a fully halal menu. With that being said me and my friends went. We wanted to give the 3 meat plate a try since we thought we can try a bit of everything. First issue there was no one at the counter being attentive. I stood there just waiting to be acknowledged. Once acknowledged I placed my order for one 3 meat platter and to dine in. I was told a 15 min wait. Beyond 15 mins I went back to the counter and asked a staff member any update on my order to which he replied what do you have and I said just one 3 meat platter. And even he was surprised it took that long for just one platter. Then another employee brought out my order in a to go bag when I clearly asked to dine in. The food itself was not worth the $25 price tag. The container only had two slices of old brisket, one sausage that was cut up, and legit grilled chicken breast covered in BBQ sauce. Only thing that was actually good was the waffle fries. Mac and cheese was a joke. And the two slices of toast wasn’t even buttered and toasted. Definitely don’t recommend this place to anyone. Waste of a drive from the Bronx all the way to long island.

Was so excited to try this place as they serve halal brisket, but was incredibly disappointed. I was on my way from Mt. Sinai, so about an hour drive, and placed the order from the store site when I was about 20 mins away. I ordered the 3 meat plate, and 2 Dino nugget kid meals. My sister went inside to grab it and she came back to the car and said they don’t have the order, they said they don’t take online orders and for me to call Dickeys (like the corporate?) and get a refund and then re order. I was like okay…called and the person I spoke to said we needed to call guest relations. Called guest relations and they said we need to speak to store manager. My sister flipped out on everyone at this point because why would you process an online order and take our money if online orders are not accepted. Long story short, the store owner told the manager to make our food so he did. First off, they didn’t even have the Dino nuggets and gave just the regular yoyo chicken tenders. No biggie. The big problem was the quality of the food. The meats were all so incredibly dry. Brisket is supposed to be moist and juicy and this was just a huge disappointment. I also ordered burnt ends as part of my 3 meat plate and instead of letting me know there was none, they gave me sausage instead. The sausage wasn’t bad. The chicken however was hard and dry as a bone. And they didn’t even include any bbq sauce. For sides, I had a baked potato casserole, which was very tough and rubbery on the outside. (I took a pic after I had a few bites). The Mac and cheese had no flavor, salt, seasoning, nothing. Didn’t even taste like cheese. I’m so disappointed that on social media these influencers like Muslim Foodies will make the food look so appetizing and appealing and yet it looks nothing like that for regular customers. One and done. Not worth the trip.

So ordered the 3 meat platter , brisket and sausages were good however chicken was cold dry. Loaded potatoes were good as well. Mac and cheese sucks there . Also the price to portion ratio isn’t right. Overall good but they need to serve the food hot.

Good BBQ when you need a fix and don’t feel like firing up the smoker. 4 stars for the BBQ and a bonus one for the staff who are always friendly despite sometimes being very busy

Dry chicken, mushy fries, chewy pork, stale rolls. Waited 45 minutes for food that was not fresh or hot. No wings available. Will not be ordering again.

Paid $30 for a “family size” fries. When arrived to pick up the guy was more interested in his FaceTime call with his girlfriend than he was with us. Quickly put together the fries. Only filled the container half way, equivalent to 2 large fries from McDonald’s. They were cold and soggy.

Food was good. The wait times are unfortunately ridiculous. The staff seemed disorganized. Establishment is in need of supervision. No set order on the roles of the workers. What ticked me off was the employees would randomly take turns to address new customers, sometimes leaving customers waiting a few minutes prior to being spoken to. The price of the brisket is pretty steep for the taste. One thing I’ll give them is that one of the workers was overly apologetic about the 40 minute wait time for a 3 meat platter and even offered to comp a drink (which I happily took).

TLDR; food is goodish. Nothing spectacular. Try for yourselves, just expect long wait times.

Edit: they put more emphasis on online orders than they do walk in orders.

My 2 sons (14 and 8 yo) and I had an impromptu lunch here. My youngest son is a very picky eater, and once he had a taste of the Mac n cheese, he proclaimed it to be the best he ever had! We tried the brisket, ribs and chicken combo, a pulled pork sandwich with fries as well. Every bite was amazing! Service was also fantastic. This place stands up to any large BBQ place that you might find elsewhere. Prices are great as well. We also met the manager and she was lovely! I plan to make this a regular for our family.

I don’t usually write bad reviews, but when I do, I’m very frustrated and this place was disgusting in terms of food and quality. The brisket was not fresh it was chewy and flavorless, felt more like eating sliced well done steak. It was definitely microwaved on top of that. They gave me chicken that was less than half a chicken breast for the 2 meat platter and the mac & cheese seem like something that they microwaved as well and it was not fresh. On top of that the guy told me there was a cash price and I told him I didn’t have cash and he still charged me on the card with the same cash price he suggested so I was a little confused why he even bothered. The workers there also seem to be a little shady. Please avoid this place as it’s one of the worst quality Halal food or barbecue places I’ve been to.

Omar is a great dude! Brisket here is 10/10. No halal brisket restaurants exist in NY and this restaurant hits it out of the park with theirs. A must try. Service is amazing. Asked us multiple times for sauce to go. Staff is very attentive. Only con is seating area is not spacious. Will be a a repeat customer
